Marjorie Barretto, Dennis Padilla ‘scolded’ for slander
Instead of being sad and sympathetic, netizens seem to be teasing Marjorie Barretto and Dennis Padilla after their defeat in the recently concluded 2025 midterm elections.
Netizens say that it seems that the former couple has been scolded in their political careers due to the recent controversy they were involved in.
Both the former couple failed to take office as councilors in separate districts in Caloocan because they fell short of the votes they received.
Marjorie is in seventh place as a councilor in the first district of Caloocan while her ex-husband Dennis, who ran for councilor in the 2nd District, ended up in 16th place.
Based on the comments we read, the hurling of harsh words after the controversial wedding of their daughter Claudia Barretto did not help them.
Marjorie spoke out boldly against the comedian after he vented his anger on social media because he was not the one who walked her son to the altar.
BANDERA is open to Marjorie and Dennis’ statements regarding their failure to win a seat in the Caloocan council.
