Mikey Quintos Speaks Out and Reveals the Woman Behind Her Breakup with Paul Salas
Social media is currently abuzz with talk about the alleged breakup of Kapuso couple Paul Salas and Mikey Quintos. It will be recalled that their relationship began in 2021.
Their romance seemed happy and was well-supported by fans when they were still together. They frequently shared photos and sweet messages on social media that showcased their love. Many netizens admired their relationship, noting how their past relationships didn’t hinder them from building something special together.
However, Paul Salas had long been rumored to be a womanizer—an issue he had previously denied, and one that Mikey chose to overlook as she wholeheartedly accepted him. Despite negative rumors, they stood strong and proved the resilience of their relationship.
Things took a shocking turn, though, when Mikey Quintos emotionally confirmed their breakup in an interview with the “King of Talk,” Boy Abunda. Mikey was visibly emotional during the confession and admitted she had thought long and hard about whether or not to share the truth, especially for the sake of their fans. At the time, she didn’t go into much detail, overwhelmed with emotion and unable to hold back her tears.
According to a reliable source, however, Mikey later admitted that the true reason behind the breakup was another woman—a third party. She shared that what Paul did to her was deeply painful. She believed his promises that he would never hurt her and that she was his only one. But to her devastation, Paul broke that trust.
Mikey revealed that the other woman was allegedly Barbie Imperial, who is known to be Paul Salas’s ex-girlfriend. Though their previous relationship lasted only a year and ended, Mikey said that Paul and Barbie had never truly cut ties and were secretly seeing each other again. She discovered a series of sweet text messages exchanged between them—and what hurt most was finding photos of Paul and Barbie together.
As of now, neither Paul Salas nor Barbie Imperial has released a statement in response to Mikey’s claims.
Mikey’s fans are wishing her healing and strength. They admire her faith and believe she will eventually move on and grow from this experience.
