According to her, “The one with Ricky was lymphoma, kaya lang it was Stage 4 na,” which reinforced the gravity of her ex-husband’s condition. Despite the intense pain, Ricky showed courage and strength in fighting against his illness.

After their separation, Jackie Lou and Ricky had the opportunity to be together as a family again. According to Jackie Lou, “When things got better, we were able to do that as a family. We were able to take a trip as a family.” They chose to focus on the beautiful memories and the love for their children.
