It will be remembered that Solenn Heussaff and Nico Bolzico got married in 2016, and since then, they have become a beloved “hashtag couple” among many netizens. The couple has been married for over seven years now and are blessed with two daughters.

Their story began in 2011 when Solenn and Nico first met at a club through a mutual friend. At that time, both of them were not looking for a serious relationship. Solenn was busy with her showbiz career, while Nico was constantly moving around because of his work. It was actually Solenn who made the first move to establish communication between them. She also admitted that Nico wasn’t her “type” of guy at all—so she couldn’t believe their meeting would eventually turn into a romantic relationship.

Now, a shocking incident involving Solenn is circulating all over social media. Many believe that the couple may be going through a rough patch, and that’s why Solenn ended up with a bruised face. Some even claim that despite her current condition, Solenn seems to be protecting her husband by making it appear that the injury she received during the recent Mother’s Day celebration was actually a “special gift” from her child.

She allegedly received a black eye. The situation raised concern, but Solenn clarified in a social media post that it was just an accident. In her Instagram Stories, the celebrity mom showed a photo of her bruised eye, captioned humorously:

“No biggy, this was a Mother’s Day gift by Thylane,” she wrote.
“Accidental headbutt while sleeping. Next time I’ll sleep with a helmet,” Solenn joked.

In another post, her eye appeared discolored—turning purple with some yellowing, indicating that the bruise was healing. Thanks to makeup, she managed to hide it well.

“There we go. That looks better,” she happily said while showing off her fresh look.

Last year, the family moved into their dream home. Solenn, who first entered showbiz through Survivor Philippines in 2010, rose to fame playing Cassiopea in the fantasy series Encantadia.

And now, good news for fans: Solenn is returning to Etheria! She is confirmed to reprise her role in the highly anticipated Encantadia spinoff titled Sang’gre.
