Lotlot de Leon, son of the late Superstar Nora Aunor, revealed the details of his mother’s funeral and burial through an Instagram post. According to Lotlot, the funeral will be held at The Chapels at Heritage Park, Taguig City.

From April 17 to 18, the funeral will be exclusively for family and close friends. From April 19 to 20, it will be open to the public from morning to afternoon to pay their respects. On April 21, the last day of the funeral will once again be reserved for family and close friends.

According to Lotlot, there will be a mass every night throughout the funeral. The burial is set for April 22 at the Libingan ng mga Bayani, Taguig City. Further details about the planned State Funeral will be announced in the coming days.

Nora Aunor, born Nora Cabaltera Villamayor on May 21, 1953, is a Filipino actress, recording artist, and film producer. She is widely known as the “Superstar” of Philippine cinema and was awarded the National Artist for Film and Broadcast Arts in 2022.
