Philip Salvador Face to Face Insulted! No Money, Father
Award-winning actor Philip Salvador has received criticism after announcing that he will run for senator in the upcoming 2025 midterm elections.
It can be recalled that last April 19, 2024, Philip Salvador announced his intention to run as senator when he accepted the offer of the PDP-Laban political party.
According to Philip Salvador, his close friend Sen. Bong Go approached him along with his other political friends.
According to Philip Salvador, he will remain in the PDP until his last breath. He is not a lawyer, not a doctor, not an engineer, he is just an actor of the PDP who can effectively serve the Filipinos.
Because of this statement by Philip Salvador, he is now reaping various criticisms from netizens.
Before he plans to serve the nation, he should first send alimony to Kris Aquino’s son, Joshua Aquino, who will be 29 years old on June 4.
Some are even saying that the award-winning actor should not win because he did not properly fulfill his role as a father to his son, Joshua Aquino, and serve the nation.
Meanwhile, Philip Salvador is not new to running for office because he previously ran for office in Mandaluyong and Bulacan but was not lucky enough to win.
On the other hand, in the program ‘Showbiz Now’ hosted by Cristy Fermin, Wendell Alvarez and Romel Chika that they shared on their YouTube channel, Cristy Fermin defended Philip Salvador from those who criticize him.
According to Cristy Fermin, she also heard similar criticism from netizens when Sen. Robin Padilla ran for the Senate.
The issues raised against him were belittled, criticized, and so on, but what happened in the end was that he became the number one senator.
That is why it is not appropriate to lead and especially to belittle Philip Salvador because we do not control fate and maybe in the end the fate of Philip Salvador will also be the same as that of Sen. Robin Padilla.
Wendell Salvador also said that he is positive that Philip Salvador will win the election because of his good PR and that he is also helpful even if he does not know the person asking for help.
Cristy Fermin also stated that it is not appropriate to judge Philip Salvador for not giving alimony to Joshua Aquino because most people do not know what he and Kris Aquino talked about.
However, Cristy Fermin is sure that one day Philip will also clarify all the issues raised against him.
