Nora Aunor’s children Ian, Lotlot, Matet, Kenneth, Kiko share what they would thank her for and apologize for
The children of Nora Aunor, Ian, Lotlot, Matet, Kiko, and Kenneth de Leon, have shared what they would thank their mom for and also what they would apologize for.
The siblings sat with Boy Abunda for an interview in “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda” live from the Heritage Park in Taguig on Monday afternoon.
According to Lotlot, she has already told her mom everything.
This was all designed by the heavens above. And I’m just grateful to be part of it.”
Like his older sister, Ian shared that he has also told their mother everything.
“The only lesson aside from everything that has happened whether it be good or bad, is always, whatever happened in the past, kahit masakit, sobrang sakit, pinakamasakit, sobrang saya, lahat ‘yun, all those were lessons for us to take and we’ll have to learn to leave the emotional baggage aside and leave it in the past,” he said.
“All we can anchor within is the lessons that came with all of those, valuable experiences that God has made us see and discern from all those.”
Matet also expressed her gratitude to their mom for loving them and her grandchildren.
“Mommy salamat naramdaman po namin ang pagmamahal ni Nora Aunor,” she said.
She could not help but turn emotional as she apologized for not being there for her mom.
Baka tayo ‘yung pahinga niya rin ate, di ba?” she added, turning to Lotlot. “Baka gusto niya rin kami makita lagi nga, so sorry kasi sorry wala po kami dun.”
Kiko, for his part, is grateful that they came into their mom’s life.
So maraming salamat, ma, kung nasaan ka man ngayon,” he said.
“Mahal na mahal ka namin. Thank you sa lahat, siguro naman naririnig niya kami and sana lang naging matagal pa ‘yung pagsasama namin, masyado kasi naging mabilis, ang dami pa namin pag-uusapan sana.”
Kenneth also said he is grateful for their mom because if not for her, he would not be here today and he would not have his siblings.
