Christopher de Leon Left by His Wife Sandy Andolong

Christopher de Leon and Sandy Andolong, who were married in 2001, have five children together: Raphael, Miguel, Gabriel, Mariel, and Mika. However, veteran actress Sandy Andolong once walked out on her husband, Christopher, during a rough patch in their marriage.

In a heartfelt revelation, Sandy admitted that she and Boyet (Christopher’s nickname) faced many trials as a married couple. Despite this, they both chose not to give up on their relationship. Married for over four decades, their bond has remained strong. Still, Sandy confessed during an interview on Fast Talk with Boy Abunda that there was indeed a time when she left Christopher because she could no longer endure the struggles they were going through as a couple.

Sandy said:
“There was a time I left him. We had two boys at the time—Raphael and Miguel. I left the house because it was too much already. It was beginning to have a really bad effect on my two children, so I left.”

She shared that Christopher was shocked to come home and find her gone. During that time, she stayed at a convent for a week, where she prayed and reflected deeply. Meanwhile, Boyet decided to surrender his life to the Lord. He and Sandy attended a Life in the Spirit Seminar (LSS) together.

Sandy recounted:
“He kept telling me, ‘No, I want this to work. I don’t want to lose you. I don’t want to lose the boys. I want us to be a complete family.’
He came from a broken family, and I came from a broken family. My father was absent during that time.”

Eventually, they reconciled and returned home. That marked a turning point in their relationship.

Christopher and Sandy’s love story began in the 1980s, and they tied the knot in 2001. In 2022, they celebrated their 42nd anniversary. The couple also renewed their wedding vows in Ha Long Bay, Vietnam, in 2019.
