Andi Eigenmann has addressed the issue surrounding her fiancé Philmar Alipayo, who was recently spotted hanging out with a woman.

On Instagram Stories, the Siargao-based former actress said that she doesn’t see any “harm” with what Philmar did.

“He can go out with his friends, go drinking every once in a while, and chat with whoever he wants. No harm in that,” Andi wrote.

“What’s shameful is purposely posting and editing a video to cause a stir, disturbing the peace of people and dragging them into their negativity, just for some social media attention,” she added.

The woman in the video is Crissa Liaging, who also posted the clip on TikTok. She can be seen talking and hanging out with the professional surfer whom she saw while on a vacation in Siargao.
Shortly after Andi issued her statement, Crissa released her own statement, denying the rumors between her and Philmar.

“Hindi totoo ang inyong iniisip at hindi totoo ang mga naglalabasang isyu sa social media. Alam ko mga kaibigan na mali ko, ako rin ang naglaglag sa aking sarili,” she said in Bisaya.

She also acknowledged her fault and regret for posting the video of her conversation with Philmar, and denied that she was flirting with him.

“There was no flirting because we were in a public place. And I also couldn’t please Philmar the way he looked and acted with me. It was really my fault, my friends, I didn’t distance myself,” she explained.

“But when you say I was flirting, I didn’t flirt because I knew he was a family man. It was just my friends, I was so overwhelmed because I didn’t think he knew me,” she added. “And Philmar and I didn’t have any other topics, it was just about one of his surfer friends.”

According to the woman, she and Philmar were both drunk and happened to bump into each other at a bar while with their surfer friends.

Before ending her statement, she reiterated that “nothing happened to us” and said that this would be the last time she will be addressing the topic.
Earlier in May, Andi addressed the breakup rumors surrounding her and Philmar when netizens commented that the surfer was not with her when she went on a trip to Japan with her family.

Philmar recently had a transesophageal echocardiogram procedure, to relieve some difficulty he was experiencing from a congenital heart defect.

Andi and Philmar have been engaged since 2020. Their family, called the Happy Islanders, is based in Siargao.
