Drag Race star Jiggly Caliente passes away
Filipino drag queen succumbs to medical issues.
International drag artist and RuPaul’s Drag Race Philippines resident judge Jiggly Caliente has passed away at the age of 44.

According to a statement from the family of the popular Filipino drag queen, she died today, April 27, 2025, at 4:42 A.M. U.S. time.

According to the statement, Jiggly passed away peacefully, surrounded by family and close friends.

“A luminous presence in the worlds of entertainment and advocacy, Jiggly Caliente was celebrated for her infectious energy, fierce wit, and unwavering authenticity. She touched countless lives through her artistry, activism, and the genuine connection she fostered with fans around the world,” her family added.

Jiggly, or Bianca Castro-Arabejo in real life, passed away suddenly.

Just the other day, her family also announced that the entertainer was seriously ill and had to have one of her legs amputated. Jiggly first became known when she participated in the fourth season of RuPaul’s Drag Race, which aired in 2012 on Logo TV. Although Jiggly was eliminated early in the competition and only placed 8th, she was still known for her hilarious catchphrases and fashion style.

In 2021, Jiggly returned for the sixth season of Rupaul’s Drag Race All Stars.

Jiggly was also an original judge on Drag Race Philippines, which has three seasons and began airing in August 2022.

On Drag Race Philippines, Jiggly was known for her honest and direct-to-the-point judging style that sometimes contestants didn’t like.
