Proven to be one of the most accepted and well-supported love teams by fans, given the the success of their TV dramas Sana’y Wala Nang Wakas and Pangako Sa ‘Yo, and their box-office films Forevermore and Ngayong Nandito, the two are sure to be excited to be back together.

EXCITED TO BE WITH ECHO AGAIN. In a PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal) interview with Kristine Hermosa last Sunday in ASAP ’08, the actress admitted to us that she was so excited to be reunited with her former partner and boyfriend. He has yet to give any details about their upcoming project because it is still being cooked up by their network.

“I can’t talk about it right now, but all I know is that we will be doing an MMK [Maalaala Mo Kaya] episode together. They say that they are working on a soap for us, but it’s hard to talk about it when there is nothing, right?

“I’ve always said that I want to work with him again. I’m just excited because ‘when Jericho and I are together, we’re like kids. The fun hasn’t gone away, ‘Hey, we’re together again. What will happen next?’ Because of course there are so many changes. We’ve both matured.”

STILL FRIENDS. Jericho was Kristine’s first boyfriend and even though their relationship ended in a breakup, Kristine assured PEP that she and the actor are still friends.

The actress admitted that when she found out that Jericho and Heart had broken up, she also felt sad for her ex-boyfriend.

“Of course I was surprised. I don’t know if it’s true, and when I finally found out it was true, of course I also felt sad for him because I know they both want it to really work out.”Ever since then, Echo and I have been friends. NOT YET READY. Kristine has always said in her past interviews that she is not ready to enter a new relationship. This is also the reason why even though Oyo Sotto is so persistent in courting her, her relationship with Kristine still doesn’t go beyond being friends.

“We are still the same, nothing has changed in our situation. As long as I am not ready to open my heart and myself, nothing will change. So far, we’re still the same and we are happy with that.

“It’s not hard to love Oyo, it’s very easy to love that person. He shows a lot of love, attention, affection, really all out. But right now, I’m not in a hurry, it’s not in my plans to enter a new relationship, but let’s see when the time comes.”

WILLING TO WORK WITH DIRECTOR ANDOY. One of the issues that Kristine was accused of was the intense fight between her and the director of Prinsesa ng Banyera, Director Andoy Ranay, which was said to be the reason why he was taken off the air so early.

When we asked if she would be able to work with the said director again tomorrow, the actress gave us a positive answer.

“If it’s going to be okay, if everything is okay, why not? Because as much as possible, I want everyone I work with to get along with me.
