He’s funny, he’s fast, and his comedic timing is unmatched. Every time Renz Joshua Baña appears on Goin’ Bulilit, the audience bursts into laughter. But behind that cheeky grin and witty one-liners is a child star with surprising depth and talent — one who’s now capturing the heart of an entire nation.

Here are the shocking and little-known truths about the boy wonder everyone’s talking about!

1. He Was Born to Perform — Literally!

According to his family, Renz started mimicking TV hosts and actors at the age of three. He would grab a spoon, stand on a chair, and pretend he was hosting a late-night talk show. “He wasn’t just playing — he was delivering monologues,” his mother revealed.

By the time he turned five, he was already joining school programs, talent shows, and making everyone laugh wherever he went.

2. He’s a Comedian… But He Can Cry on Cue!

Here’s something most fans don’t know: Renz isn’t just a comic actor — he has dramatic chops, too. Directors on Goin’ Bulilit have praised him for being able to switch from comedy to drama instantly.

“Give him a script with heavy emotions, and he’ll surprise you. He’s a natural,” one production staff shared.

3. He’s an Honor Student — No Joke!

Think he’s all jokes and games? Think again. Renz is a consistent honor student in real life. Despite his busy taping schedule, he manages to balance acting with academic excellence. He reportedly enjoys math, science, and writing his own short skits.

“He submits homework ahead of time, even during shooting days,” his teacher proudly said.

4. He Writes His Own Jokes

Yes — some of Renz’s iconic one-liners are written by HIM. His humor isn’t just instinctual; it’s intelligent and observant. He draws inspiration from his classmates, parents, and even random strangers at the mall.

“If I see something funny in real life, I take note of it. Maybe I’ll use it next week,” Renz once shared.

5. He Might Be the Next Big Teen Actor

Industry insiders are already buzzing: Renz Joshua Baña might just be the next breakout teen star. With his charm, natural acting ability, and undeniable intelligence, he could easily transition from kiddie sketch shows to major TV dramas or films.

“He’s got ‘It.’ You can’t teach that — he was born with it,” said a former Goin’ Bulilit cast member.

6. He’s Surprisingly Shy Off-Camera

Fans are always shocked to learn that Renz is quiet and reserved in real life. On-camera, he’s a ball of energy. Off-camera? He’s soft-spoken, polite, and prefers reading or writing jokes in a corner.

7. He’s Got Big Dreams — And They’re Not All About Showbiz

Renz has expressed interest in becoming a director, writer, or even a teacher someday. While he loves being in front of the camera, he also dreams of being behind it — crafting the kind of stories that make people laugh, cry, or think.

Some netizens are against including Baby Giant in Goin’ Bulilit
Several netizens expressed their disappointment after social media personality Renz Joshua Baña, a.k.a Baby Giant, was chosen to replace Romy “Dagul” Pastrana as the adult cast of Goin’ Bulilit’s new generation.

In some Facebook comments, netizens expressed their concern that many children would look at Baby Giant’s past social media posts, which showed him flirting with other women influencers.

“Baby Giant’s image is not wholesome to be included in going bulilit. There are vlogs that are popular,” netizen Gid said
“I hope that director Bobot & production staff of Goin Bulilit would at least check his social media & content before he was cast & replaced Dagul,” netizen Pauilo commented.

However, some people also defended Baby Giant, saying that the production team of Goin’ Bulilit may have already set guidelines for the social media personality.

“Guys I know he used to have adult-themed content but now he is part of the new going bulilit for sure he has rules and guidelines in his contract especially if he is going to do his own content since what he is representing is a wholesome / kids show so let’s give him a chance. Sir Dagul is old, let’s let others shine,” netizen Ali said.

It can be recalled that Dagul was already not in a good physical condition to work again.

As of writing, Baby Giant has yet to respond to the people who doubt his qualifications to become part of Goin’ Bulilit.
