Boyet De Leon My Advice to His Ex-Wife Nora Aunor
Veteran actor Christopher De Leon enjoyed the lock-in taping of ‘Lolong’ because apart from his co-actors and production staff, he was also with his son Ian De Leon.

“I enjoyed every minute of our bubble taping with Ian,” said Boyet.

Christopher De Leon praised this new series starring Ruru Madrid. The series Lolong will start airing on GMA Telebabad on July 4. Even though it had problems and was delayed for a long time, he said it was worth it and viewers will definitely like it.

Even though the long-term lock-in taping was boring, he bonded with his son Ian. He is happy to be working with his son Nora Aunor.

Boyet is also happy that those who are considered children do not forget, just like Lotlot De Leon. It can be recalled that Lotlot posted a touching message to congratulate him on Father’s Day. He is also happy that Lotlot and Ate Guy have reconciled.

Boyet is also aware of Ate Guy’s hospitalization. He advised that the Superstar needs to take care of his health.

“Nora needs to take care of her health. Stop smoking or lessen it then slowly stop it,” he advised.

Christopher de Leon shuns questions regarding the Matet de Leon-Nora Aunor rift over gourmet tuyo: “I’m not interested in dramas like that.”

Drama King Christopher de Leon is happy with the appointment of his ex-wife Nora Aunor as National Artist for Film.

For him, it is long overdue to give the so-called Superstar the said award.

“Good for her. Yeah, honestly she needs that,” he said sparingly.

He also said that he is willing to work with her again, depending on the project.

Regarding the controversy involving the actress and their son Matet de Leon, he said that he does not want to interfere in that matter as much as possible.

It can be recalled that there was a misunderstanding between the mother and son because of Matet’s claim that his mother allegedly competed with him in his gourmet tuyo business by coming up with her own.

(The update is that the mother and son have made up over the new year. In fact, Matet even attended the birthday party of his mommy’s special friend, John Rendez, held at the Superstar’s house. Nora was the one who greeted him at the gate, based on video shots by John himself that were later uploaded on his YouTube vlog.)

Boyet, Christopher’s nickname, said that the two camps were just tense when it happened.

“They’re just emotional about the whole thing,” the Drama King replied. “There’s a lot behind it. There’s a lot behind what people are saying. I know the tension already. I know the background but I can’t talk because I’m not interested in dramas like that. I tried to stay away from that.”

But he quickly clarified that Matet also didn’t confess to him about what he was going through with his mommy. Despite that, he said he knew what was going on.

“I know what really happened. I know all the stories in all the stages,” the actor said meaningfully.

However, he also believes that just like any other fight, the mother-son conflict can be resolved even if he doesn’t intervene.

“I’m older now. For me, stuff like this can hinder your enjoyment in life. So, I said, ‘That’s enough,’” Christopher added.

And since the mother-son relationship has recently settled down, Boyet is grateful that the problem was ironed out without him having to intervene.

He added that he has also made it a habit to reject any negativity from his system because he doesn’t want to be affected by what appears on social media.

“I have friends who tell me stories. Actually, we never enjoy talking about other people. There is good or better news. I’m more prone to that. It lightens up my day than talking about this negative stuff,” he added.

Meanwhile, Christopher is in the cast of Coco Martin’s Batang Quiapo, where he will play the role of the leader of the gangsters.

Currently, he is also preparing for his upcoming “Some Kind of Valentine” concert, where he will be joined by career contemporaries Tirso Cruz III and Bobot Mortiz. Also joining, as special guest, is singer-actress Lovi Poe.

It will be shown at the Newport Performing Arts in Newport World Resorts on February 3 and 4. This one-of-a-kind concert will also feature Mel Villena, AMP Big Band, and fast-rising artist Kaneisha Santos. It is produced by Dreamwings Productions and sisters Charo and Malou Santos.

“This is gonna be a fun concert. It’s gonna be a night of love, music and laughter,” concluded Christopher.
