Maegan Aguilar shared in an interview how she was reunited with her father, legendary OPM artist Freddie Aguilar, after years of not speaking to each other.

In an interview with Julius Babao, Maegan said that she tried several ways to reconnect with her father, including talking to one of his daughters, who lives with her father, Freddie Aguilar.

“My daughter who lives with him. Since I blocked her, of course I blocked my father, right? I passed it on to my son. Son, you should ask grandpa if we can go there,” Maegan said.

Maegan said she didn’t know how happy she was when her father suddenly agreed to her request.

“Mommy, yes, but only overnight…”

When they went to her father’s house, she teased him that he looked younger than her.

“‘You’re a liar, Dad. You look so young, I look like an old lady.”

Meanwhile, Maegan also shared her thoughts on life in the said interview.

“‘Your deeds that are beautiful to other people are not what will get you to heaven. What will get you to heaven is the “You are humbled at his feet” that you know that you are nothing, you are nothing without HIM so now that’s what I believe that “Lord, I can’t do this if I’m alone because I’m nothing if you don’t have me.”

It can be recalled that Maegan was separated from her father in 2019, allegedly because of his vices.

Maegan even went viral on social media after she brought up her issues with her father on Wanted Sa Radyo.

However, Freddie insisted that he alone will decide if Maegan has changed.

“Because Maegan, she tells me, ‘Dad, I’ve changed.’ I said, ‘Son, you don’t need to tell me that you’ve changed, eh. Me, I’ll know it, son when you change.

“I’ll tell you myself, son, come on, you’ve changed, eh.’ But bro, you can’t just say it, there’s action involved, bro. With what you’re doing now, you’re still not changing.”
