“I don’t know,” Willie laughed.

He continued, “No, you know, that ten million, when I was watching the news, Anderson [Cooper, CNN], I felt sorry for our countrymen.

“So that ten million, I didn’t give it to Channel 2, to Channel 5, or to Channel 7, I gave it to Secretary Dinky Soliman himself, that money.

“So that it wouldn’t be shown to anyone.”

Aside from Willie giving it to the head of the Department of Social Welfare and Development, he still went to Tacloban and gave out help again.

“Well, I’m grateful for that. Well. That’s my way because you know… I’m so blessed, Tita Lolit, so God is so kind to me.

“People are so kind to me, especially the poor, they’re praying for me, well.

“So, that’s not enough, eh! Actually, the money, that’s just material, eh. All that money doesn’t matter. What’s important to us is your love for your neighbor.

“What’s important to us is that you give back everything that the poor have given you.

“As long as you’re alive and have something to give that you can help your neighbor, do it now because it’s all material things.

“You see Tacloban, just like that, what happened to us?

“But the most important thing is, your heart is not material, your heart is generous to your neighbor,” he said. GAMBLING ISSUE. Next, Manay Lolit asked Willie about the never-ending rumor that Willie is addicted to gambling.

His serious response was, “Here, once and for all, now I won’t talk for a few months. I don’t want to talk about this because it’s my own life, eh.

“So the money I play at the casino, that’s money I worked hard for, that’s not anyone’s money.

“You pay monthly dues, you pay taxes.

“Now, I am building a very beautiful hotel in Tagaytay, it is big and world-class, it is a five-star hotel.

“So we will show you that.”

At that point, the show aired video clips of the hotel that Willie is building in Tagaytay, supposedly on top of Taal Mountain.

Willie even invited Startalk host Heart Evangelista to get married there with Heart’s fiancé Senator Chiz Escudero.

“I spent all my hard work here,” Willie said, referring to the hotel.

Willie then asked Heart if Senator Chiz dreams of a higher position.

Heart replied, “There are people who ask him but at this point, he has others, he’s opening his eyes to other things.

ON LIZ ALMORO. Willie was also asked to react to his ex-girlfriend Liz Almoro’s marriage.

“The concern is for every Filipino. In what happened in Tacloban, I went there not to show off or anything, I just went there of my own free will.

“Whatever I gave, it came from my heart because I was just giving back to all of you what I have.”

Again, he mentioned the issue of his alleged casino addiction.

“Now, if I’m struggling, you know, I’m the one who knows my life.

“Whatever casino I go to, it’s as simple as this. The casino, it’s open twenty-four hours.

“It’s like drugs, you know. Will you take it or not? That’s up to you, you know.

“It’s up to you, there’s no problem with the casino, it’s up to the person, you have to know how to control it.

“I enjoy it, I work so hard in my life, I even went to the casino, when I win, I still help many people. If I lose, I still help.

“That’s just me. It’s not true that I lost six hundred million, when I really lost, I only lost five hundred ninety-five million, okay?” Willie joked.

And to prove that he doesn’t sell properties…

“This is it, if we’re okay, first time, the house I bought in Ayala Heights, it’s from Boss Gabby Lopez, I’ll show you.

“I’ll show everything, the nine years I worked hard for, to all of you. The one in Tagaytay. I didn’t sell anything.
