At the Alyansa Para sa Bagong Pilipinas rally in East Bloc Nuvali on Saturday night, the President again put in a good word for the lineup.

But there was no mention of his reelectionist sister who, like in the last two provincial programs, was again absent.

Toward the end of his speech, Marcos referred to the Alyansa slate as being composed of “11 candidates”—not 12.

“Let us unite in our alliance. We should not be just an alliance of these 10, 11 candidates who are running for senator under the Alyansa slate. Join us in our alliance and let us work together in improving the lives of every Filipino,” Marcos said.

In earlier rallies, even candidates who were absent on stage were mentioned by the President in his speech.

Senator Marcos skipped Alyansa’s March 14 rally in Tacloban City, hometown of their mother, Imelda, and the one held in Trece Martires City, Cavite, on Friday.
