In a stunning and emotionally charged revelation, rumors are now swirling online that the late President Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino III may have left his entire wealth and estate solely to Joshua Aquino, the eldest son of his sister, Kris Aquino.

🏛️ A Family Bond Like No Other

Sources close to the Aquino family have long confirmed that Noynoy and Joshua shared an incredibly close bond. While Noynoy remained a bachelor all his life, many saw Joshua — affectionately called “Josh” — as the closest thing he had to a son.

“He adored Josh. He treated him like his own,” a family insider once revealed in a past interview.

🧾 The Alleged Will That Sparked Buzz

Whispers began when a leaked document — allegedly related to Noynoy’s last will and testament — suggested that a major portion, if not all, of his personal estate was designated to Joshua.

This includes:

Savings and investments

Properties in Metro Manila and Tarlac

Personal heirlooms from the Aquino-Cojuangco lineage

Though the family has yet to release an official confirmation, the rumor alone has set social media ablaze.

🗣️ Public Reaction: Mixed Emotions

While many netizens praise the move as a heartfelt gesture from a loving uncle, others are raising questions:

“Why only Josh? What about other family members?”
“If true, this shows how much love PNoy had for his nephew.”
“This may stir drama within the family… I hope not.”

👩‍👦 Kris Aquino Speaks?

As of now, Kris Aquino has not addressed the rumor publicly. However, in her past posts, she has spoken frequently about how Noynoy doted on Josh — often calling him “Kuya’s favorite” and praising his growth.

“Kuya gave Josh the love, patience, and presence of a father.” – Kris, in an earlier interview.

🕊️ A Legacy Beyond Politics

Whether true or not, the story reminds Filipinos of the deep, personal side of the late President — a man who served the nation but was also a devoted uncle, a quiet hero to his family, and a source of strength for Kris in her most difficult times.

⚠️ Final Word

As we await any official clarification, one thing is certain: the Aquino legacy lives on not just through politics, but through love, loyalty, and family.

Among his seven nephews and four sisters, Joshua, the eldest of Kris’ two children (Aquino, the youngest of the four sisters), the younger one of whom is Bimby (dad is top cager James Yap), is obviously the closest to the late President Noynoy Aquino.

Joshua, who is now 26, is Kris’ son with actor Phillip Salvador.

Although Joshua reportedly knows Phillip, and knows his reaction to the actor, he is not close to him.

Joshua reportedly treats the former President like a father, who is the reason why he wanted to live in Tarlac, at the Cojuangco hacienda, since that is where PNoy often goes.

In fact, Joshua’s face was very sad when he was seen on TV, when he briefly stopped by Times Street, where PNoy lives when he is in Metro Manila, on the day his uncle died.

Among the first to visit PNoy’s remains at Heritage Park, where they were first brought, were the couple Mikee Cojuangco and her husband, former Pasig Congressman Robert ‘Dodot’ Jaworski.

Mikee’s dad, of course, is Peping Cojuangco, a younger brother of the late President Cory Aquino, PNoy’s mother.

Former Senator Bam Aquino said that he and PNoy talked about meeting on Sunday (obviously June 27).

As is common knowledge now, PNoy died early morning of June 24 in his sleep.

He was 61 years old.
