— After several days of silence amidst intense mourning, **Lotlot De Leon**, one of **Nora Aunor**’s closest children, has finally spoken out about the sudden passing of his Superstar mother. In an emotional and unparalleled confession on social media, Lotlot poured out his true feelings—not only as an artist, but as a son who is now left behind by his mother who served as the light of his life.

No one is fully prepared for the sudden and tragic loss of a loved one—especially when it’s the person who taught you how to love, stand up, and fight in life. In his post, Lotlot admitted that even though Nora had mentioned her tiredness and weakness many times, **he never thought this day would come so quickly**.

> “Ma… I don’t know how to lose you. The pain. The depth. I can’t explain it. I thought I was brave, but now, I feel the loss.”

According to those close to the family, a few days before Nora took her life, **she allegedly flatlined three times**, something that Lotlot also confirmed in a separate interview. Despite all the efforts of the doctors, **Nora Aunor finally passed away**, leaving behind a country, a family, and a suffering child.

The ups and downs of Lotlot and Nora’s relationship over the years are not unknown to the public. But in his message, Lotlot chose to **lay out the truth that despite all the bickering and intrigue, Nora Aunor is still the mother of his heart.**

> “Sometimes you just stay quiet, Ma. But I know, you feel all my love too. It wasn’t easy for both of us, but in the end, you are still the mother I consider you. You cannot be replaced.”

He also praised the kindness and courage of his mother who, even in her final moments, **still chose to protect the dignity of the family over herself.** A lesson he said he would never forget.

“There are things I wish I could have said before. But I can’t do that now,” Lotlot said while writing his tribute. “So if I’ve learned anything, it’s to never let the words you have to say go unspoken.”

He also extended his heartfelt gratitude to all the fans and friends who didn’t give up on their family in the midst of their grief.

> “I feel all of your love. I also feel how much you love Mama. Thank you so much for every flower, prayer, and hug. This means a lot to us.”

At the end of his message, Lotlot left a very simple line that pierced the hearts of all who read it:

> **“Rest easy, Ma. We will take care of each other. This world will never forget you—especially me.”**

Nora Aunor’s funeral is currently being thronged by supporters, friends, and fellow artists. Only one thing is certain—**the loss of the Superstar is not just the end of a legend, but the beginning of endless memories.** In every story, every song, and every tear, **Nora Aunor** will remain as the Queen of Movies and Mother of the Filipino People.

Lotlot to those who sympathized, paid tribute to Nora Aunor: ‘You are our strength!’
Lotlot de Leon is VERY grateful to all those who sympathized, recognized, and paid tribute to the passing of his mother and one and only Superstar, Nora Aunor.

We also draw strength from them, as siblings,” he said.

His family is also grateful because they were able to mourn their mother well before it became public this Saturday, April 19.

“Like I said these times, ‘this is the only time we have our mommy. All her life she’s devoted to the public, to her work. “We, the brothers and sisters, say that even if she was only with us for a few days,” she said.

The actress continued, “She’s our National Artist. She’s well loved. She’s respected. We’re just truly grateful for everyone who’s also mourning with us.”

It will be recalled that on April 16, Ate Guy finally passed away due to respiratory failure after undergoing surgery.
