In a revelation that has taken both fans and insiders by surprise, the wife of actor-comedian Vandolph Quizon is now reportedly on a personal and emotional journey to find her biological father — a story filled with mystery, longing, and long-buried family truths.
While Vandolph, son of the late Comedy King Dolphy, has always kept a relatively private family life, sources close to the couple now reveal that his wife, Jenny Quizon, has been quietly seeking answers about her true parentage. For years, the identity of her biological father was either unknown or kept secret — but recent developments have prompted her to finally confront the questions that have haunted her since childhood.
“She just wants the truth,” said a family source. “It’s not about drama or resentment. It’s about understanding where she came from.”
A Lifetime of Silence, Broken by Courage
According to insiders, Jenny had always suspected she wasn’t being told the full story about her birth father. While raised with love by the family she grew up with, whispers and inconsistencies in family stories eventually became too loud to ignore.
Now, as a mother and wife, Jenny is said to feel a stronger urge than ever to fill the missing pieces of her identity — not just for herself, but for her children’s sake.
“Every person deserves to know their roots,” she reportedly told a close friend.
Vandolph’s Support: Quiet but Unwavering
Those close to the couple say that Vandolph is fully supportive of his wife’s decision, standing beside her as she digs into the past.
“He’s not just a husband, he’s her strength,” one relative shared. “He knows how important family is — and he wants Jenny to find that sense of completeness.”
Social Media Reacts: Mixed But Mostly Supportive
As rumors began circulating, many netizens responded with empathy:
“Praying she finds the truth and peace she deserves.”
“Every woman deserves to know who her father is — no matter how late.”
“Kudos to Vandolph for standing by her through something so personal.”
Some, however, warned that opening old wounds could lead to pain — especially if the truth is not what she hopes for. But supporters insist that closure, even painful, is better than a lifetime of questions.
Final Thought: When Truth Is the Only Missing Piece
In a world that often values appearances over authenticity, Jenny Quizon’s quiet but courageous search for her real father is a reminder that sometimes, the most important journeys happen away from the spotlight.
And in the end, it’s not just about who raised you — it’s also about knowing who you are, and where you truly came from.
“Blood may not be everything… but truth? That’s something every soul deserves.
37-year-old actor-comedian and politician Vandolph Lacsamana Quizon does not deny that the loss of his beloved father, comedy king Dolphy who died on July 10, 2012, left a huge void in his life. He admitted to us that he was his dad’s favorite son, being the youngest among his sons. The youngest is his half-sister Zia (Dolphy’s daughter with singer-actress Zsa Zsa Padilla).
Since birth, Vandolph was always with his father. This only ended when his parents Alma Moreno separated in 1989 although they still saw each other regularly even though they no longer lived together in a house.
Even though Zsa Zsa was Dolphy’s partner at the time, the comedy king made it a point to regularly spend time with his children (with different women) every Sunday and on various special occasions including his birthday, Christmas and New Year. Dolphy never neglected his duties as a father to his 18 children.
Vandolph admits that he had a traumatic experience when he met a vehicular accident in 2001 with his then girlfriend Ishi. It was unfortunate that he lost his girlfriend while miraculously surviving after being dead for one minute. He was only 16 then and not matured enough to understand what happened. It took him sometime to recover emotionally and he’s forever grateful to his parents and siblings who were there for him during those trying times. He also reportedly reached out to his girlfriend Ishi’s family.
In 2002, Vandolph met Jenny Salimao who was then a member of the all-girl dance group Gee Girls. The two were introduced by Vandolph’s half brother Mark Anthony Fernandez. Vandolph and Jenny happened to be in the same dressing room at ABS-CBN.
Vandolph admits that it was love at first sight when he saw Jenny and he pursued her until they got married. They lived together for five years before they got married on December 3, 2007.
Before the birth of their biological son, Vito Quizon (12), the couple had an adopted daughter, Gabrielle.
Vandolph and Jenny do not deny that like other couples, they also have arguments and there was even a time when it almost ended in divorce. But their love for each other and their two children prevailed, which saved their marriage.
In 2016, Vandolph took over his mother’s position as councilor of the 1st district of Paranaque and is again running for his third and final term while his wife, Jenny Salimao-Quizon, is serving as barangay captain in the same district in an extended term. But despite both of them being in public service, they reportedly never miss a moment for each other or their children.
“When we are at home, my husband and I still play our respective roles. Jenn still gets to cook and clean our house and take care of the kids considering that she needs the barangay 24/7. We regularly bond as a family,” Vandolph said.
Meanwhile, Jenn admitted to us that when her father-in-law, Dolphy, was still alive, she experienced the presence of a father.
“He was a doting father,” Jenn said.
Jenn never experienced having a father because until now she still hasn’t met her biological father, who is an American, but she knows where he lives in America with his family.
“I grew up with my grandmother who never lacked love for me,” shares Jenn. “But there were really times when I was looking for my father.”
“The absence of a father was filled by Papa (Dolphy) when he was still alive, so I was also very affected when he passed away,” admitted Vandolph’s wife.
Vandolph said that when the situation is resolved, they want to visit Jenn’s biological father in America.
Meanwhile, the Vandolph and Jenny couple are regularly seen in the newly launched weekly gag show “Quizon CT (Comedy Theater)” on NET25 every Sunday at 8 p.m. with Vandolph’s two other siblings, Eric and Epy Quizon, who are also co-directors of the program. The said program serves as the siblings’ tribute to their late father, comedy king Dolphy. A DREAM come true for actor Zanjoe Marudo to work with his crush Jodi Sta. When Zanjoe was asked about his showbiz crush, he admitted without hesitation that it was Jodi Sta. Maria. When Joshua was asked, his friend Daniel answered that it was Janella Salvador, which Joshua himself confirmed.
Joshua and Janella starred together in the hit primetime TV series “The Killer Bride” which ended its airing on January 17, 2020.
There was even a time when Janella’s current partner, Markus Paterson, made Joshua jealous.
Since his break-up with Julia Barretto in 2019, ex-PBB housemate-turned-actor Joshua has remained single, having a crush on sexy star and top vlogger Ivana Alawi. The two are now friends.
Aside from Ivana, the young man is also close to his two leading ladies, in “Viral Scandal” and “Darna” Charlie Dizon and Jane de Leon, respectively. Alice’s baby is one year old
IT was in May 2021 when the 52-year-old former beauty queen-turned actress Alice Dixson introduced her baby girl (through surrogacy) Baby Aura (by her American partner) who is almost one year old.
Alice faced her baby’s surrogate mother alone. When the baby was finally handed to her, she took care of all the necessary papers (including passport) and needs to bring the baby back to the Philippines.
Even though she didn’t carry and deliver the child, they formed a unique bond when Baby Aura was finally handed to her.
Alice also doesn’t deny the unique joy she and her partner felt when Baby Aura came into their lives.
Alice did not have a child with her ex-husband (of 14 years) Ronnie Miranda.
