Manila, Philippines – It’s the end of an era. After years of spreading good vibes and high-energy performances, multi-talented host and performer Billy Crawford has officially said goodbye to the “It’s Showtime” family. The announcement, made earlier this week, has left fans and co-hosts heartbroken and reflective.

An Unexpected Goodbye

In a heartfelt speech during a live episode of “It’s Showtime,” Billy, holding back tears, addressed his colleagues and viewers:

“This show has been my home for so many years. I grew up here, learned here, laughed and cried here. But now, it’s time for me to open a new chapter in my life.”

He did not give full details on the reason behind his departure, but sources close to the host shared that it was a mix of personal priorities and new international opportunities.

Showtime Family Reacts

As Billy spoke, his co-hosts Vice Ganda, Vhong Navarro, and Anne Curtis were visibly emotional. Vice even walked over and embraced Billy tightly, saying:

“You’ll always be part of this family. Wherever you go, we’re proud of you.”

Behind the scenes, staff members and longtime crew of the show were also seen tearfully bidding Billy farewell. The emotion in the studio was palpable.

A Legacy That Won’t Be Forgotten

Billy joined “It’s Showtime” in 2011 and quickly became a fan favorite for his natural charisma, hosting prowess, and musical talent. His chemistry with the rest of the hosts was undeniable and contributed to many of the show’s most unforgettable moments.

Fans recall his iconic dance segments, spontaneous jokes, and ability to connect with contestants on a deeper level. He was not just a host—he was a storyteller, a friend, and a big brother to many.

What’s Next for Billy?

Rumors have been swirling that Billy might be pursuing more international projects, especially after his stint and win in “Danse avec les stars” (France’s version of “Dancing with the Stars”). Others believe he is focusing on spending more time with his wife Coleen Garcia and their son Amari.

In a recent interview, Billy hinted at “new horizons” and “big dreams” waiting to unfold.

Netizens Pour in Support

Social media platforms exploded with messages of gratitude and support for Billy:

“You made Showtime better, Billy. Thank you for the memories!”

“The show won’t be the same without you.”

“Wherever you go, we’ll follow and support you!”

Final Thoughts

Though Billy’s departure marks the end of a beautiful chapter, it’s also the beginning of something greater. As he steps away from the daily spotlight of “It’s Showtime,” fans can only hope that his next moves will bring him even more success and fulfillment.

One thing is certain — Billy Crawford’s legacy will forever be part of “It’s Showtime” history.

Host and performer Billy Crawford has surprised It’s Showtime’s Madlang People after being part of Vice Ganda’s performance on this year’s “Magpasikat.”

Billy, together with wife and also a former host of the show Coleen Garcia and son Amari, were the special guests of Vice in his performance.

The former host wasn’t seen on the show after having a misunderstanding with Vice Ganda, which was not mentioned publicly.

“On my end, I want to say I’m sorry, I’m sorry Madlang People, I’m sorry Kapamilya. But myself, nagpapakumbaba lang ako na gagawin ko kasi ang lahat para sa aking pamilya, and kasama na rin po kayo don Madlang People,” said Billy.

“So I really thank you. Thank you very much. Thank you very much for the support and love. I just want to say, Vice, I love you,” he added.

After visiting his father in the US, Billy said that his father advised him to reconcile with the comedian star.

Billy took the opportunity to apologize after Vice’s performance, which was all about “dreams.”

According to Vice, those dreams will not feel fulfilling if someone is not healed from the things that made them hurt.
