Gladys Reyes, surprised at her daughter’s Senior High graduation by becoming first honor

But will Gladys Reyes and Christopher Roxas’ son Gian Christophe Reyes Sommereux be the last to receive 1st honor, class salutatorian and subject excellence awardee in the recent Senior High graduation? Gladys mentioned and shared all of that on her Instagram, including the video when Gian was called to the stage and told about the awards he received. Gladys admitted that she was surprised by the award her son received. She said she knew there was an award but she had no idea what award her son would receive at graduation.

“Sharing my “surprise moment”, I didn’t know that my son would be awarded First Honor until it was announced,” Gladys said in her Instagram post.

“You could hear my surprised remark from the background. Teachers were not allowed to tell us in advance, all I know is that he has an award.

And when Gian was called again for another award, Gladys’ mother brought him along to join in the son’s success.

“When his name was called again, for Subject Excellence Award, I asked my Mom Z, her grandmother Pretty to join us.”

Even the late loving father of the actress was remembered on this occasion for the beautiful event for her daughter.

“If only my late father, his Lolo Abung is still here to witness all this, he would be ecstatic for sure. I remember when Christophe was younger, his lolo would tirelessly bring and pick him up from school, waiting patiently ’til his classes finish.”

Gladys is very happy with her daughter’s award. She is grateful to God for Gian’s proud gift to their family. Gladys’ entire family, including Christopher, his mother, and children, is in full support.

“Can’t get over this moment, my heart is full! God answered my son’s prayer. We are forever grateful. Our pride…our son @christophe_sommereux 1st Honor.”

Gladys added that her two other children with Christopher Roxas, Grant and Aquisha, are all Headmaster awardees in their school.
