VETERAN actress Jackie Lou Blanco has explained the current state of her relationship with her ex-husband Ricky Davao.

If before, the actress would always answer “we are a work in progress” when asked how her relationship with the actor-director was going, now it’s different.

In a previous episode of the weekly talk show “Sarap Di Ba?”, host Carmina Villarroel asked if there were times when Jackie Lou and Ricky weren’t okay. The actress replied, “I can’t say friends. Civil.” Yes, it was more civil. We just had to. It wasn’t comfortable during those times.

“There are occasions where birthdays will be separate. My kid will have a birthday and they’ll have a day with their dad,” she said.

But it has changed now, “That’s why I say it’s much better now because we can do that already. We can travel as a family. I can’t say we’re chummy-chummy but it’s so much better than how it was before.” The veteran actress explained, “Through time. And it seems like you’ll get to a point where it’s tiring.
