During a recent episode of It’s Showtime, things took an unexpected turn when Vice Ganda threw a sharp, seemingly humiliating comment at co-host MC Muah. The joke, meant to be playful, left viewers uncomfortable—especially when Kim Chiu was suddenly dragged into the moment.

😳 The Comment That Started It All

In the middle of a comedic segment, Vice threw a jab at MC Muah, saying:

“Buti pa si Kim, may career! Ikaw, nagpapatawa lang pero parang wala namang patutunguhan!”

Though Vice is known for his edgy humor, this line didn’t land well—particularly because it used Kim Chiu as a point of comparison. The camera even caught Kim looking visibly awkward, trying to laugh it off while shifting in her seat.

😬 Netizens React: “Kim Chiu Doesn’t Deserve This!”

Social media erupted with reactions:

“Grabe naman si Vice. Damay pa si Kim!”

“Unnecessary comparison. Hindi nakakatawa.”

“MC was clearly uncomfortable. Vice crossed the line.”

Many fans defended Kim, saying she was unfairly involved in what seemed like an on-air shade war between Vice and MC.

💬 MC Muah’s Cryptic Post

Hours later, MC Muah took to Instagram Stories and posted:

“You don’t have to put someone down to lift someone up.”

Though he didn’t name names, fans were quick to connect the dots.

👀 Vice Ganda & Kim Chiu: All Is Well?

Despite the drama, Kim Chiu later posted a light-hearted behind-the-scenes clip with Vice, seemingly downplaying any tension. Still, fans speculate whether Kim was just being professional, trying to avoid further issues.

⚖️ The Bigger Picture

This moment sparked renewed debate about Vice Ganda’s brand of humor—and whether it sometimes goes too far, even among friends. In a time when respect and sensitivity matter more than ever, viewers are calling for more responsible comedy, especially on live TV

Kim Chiu reveals that Vice Ganda has dengue
Kim Chiu accidentally revealed that her co-host on “It’s Showtime” Vice Ganda just recovered from dengue.

In the live episode of the noontime show yesterday, Vice thanked a medical clinic that treated them when they and Ion Perez fell ill. He didn’t say what his illness was.

“My platelets are okay, thank you very much, they’re back to normal,” said the Unkabogable Star.

Later, Vice reminded the audience about their health.

“People, stay hydrated, please, huh? Hydration is very important,” he said.

Kim then teased, “It’s good that you’re okay now, Ma. But even though you have dengue, you still worked. Why is that?”

“You really made it out that I had dengue,” Vice replied.

“We’re just having a group chat,” Meme Vice laughed, clearly taken aback by Kimmy’s opening.

The actress realized that she had slipped and couldn’t speak while Vice was still laughing but was obviously stunned.

Kimmy took it back, “but you’re doing well.”

Since Kim had just opened her eyes, Vice explained that he didn’t know he had dengue.

“I wish I had known that I had dengue at the time. I didn’t know, right? I just found out, at the end, that I had dengue,” Meme Vice laughed.

He also reminded the audience to be careful.

Kim laughed, “but, Ma, it’s impressive that you didn’t weaken.”

Vice replied, “because my immune system is high. I’m full of vitamins, and I’m living a healthy lifestyle.”

But he was still confused by his co-host’s opening.

“You’re really out of it,” he laughed again.
