BB Gandanghari feels sad whenever Mommy Eva asks ‘Who are you?’
BB Gandanghari is now in the Philippines.

In her interview on Fast Talk with Boy Abunda, she said that she actually returned to the country last September from America for her mother as well as for her birthday celebration.

“I was here last September because then, Mama deteriorated. So, she didn’t talk much anymore. So, I said, ‘Wait, I’m going home.’

“Robin (Padilla, BB’s younger brother) said, ‘Okay, come home here, just celebrate your birthday here,” BB said.

BB didn’t immediately answer Robin because she was already studying at a film school in Los Angeles and her schedule was very hectic.

But Binoe really asked her to come home to the Philippines first.

“I surprised her (Eva Cariño). That’s why she really didn’t know either. Then I told her caregivers, ‘I have a package coming, please watch out.’ They didn’t know I was the one coming.’ So they told Mommy, ‘There’s a package coming from BB,’” she said.

Kuya Boy recalled the story that one day before BB returned to the country, Mommy Eva was just looking out the window as if waiting for someone.

“It wasn’t even a surprise to me anymore. Because every time I would talk to her on the phone, she would ask her caregivers ‘Who is she?’

“And it would break my heart. I would tell my friends in America, I think it’s the most painful when your mom says, ‘Who are you?’” BB said sadly.
