Darren tearfully expresses his feelings towards his parents: I never want to disrespect you, ever…
Is Kapamilya young actor and singer Darren Espanto going through SOMETHING in his personal life right now?

The previous episode of “Magandang Buhay” was emotional and tears flowed when Darren was a guest on the program and discussed his current relationship with his parents.

The young man cried while talking about several times when he and his parents did not understand each other.

His parents, Lyndon and Marinel Espanto, are in Canada working as nurses there. His younger sister, Lynelle, is also there.

Darren is currently in the Philippines to continue his showbiz career, so it has been quite a while since he has seen and spent time with his family.

When the young man was asked by the hosts of “Magandang Buhay” yesterday, September 28, about his relationship with his parents, he started to get emotional.

“I promise to keep trying to make you proud always, and I promise not to be a disappointment too often,” the actor-singer said.

“Of course, we are at an age where you also want to do things, which sometimes don’t match the wishes of our parents.

“But it’s a part of life. It also depends, I guess, on your situation at home, on your relationship with your parents.

“We are all different in our relationships, how we were raised, how we talk to our parents.

“But I promise to my parents, I hope you won’t… I hope you will still see the Darren you knew when I was a kid, before I flew to the Philippines,” the young man shared tearfully.

He also promised his beloved mom and dad, “I never want to disrespect you, ever. Maybe there are just times when I want to do something for myself.

Darren umiiyak na naglabas ng saloobin sa mga magulang: Hinding-hindi ko kayo gustong bastusin, ever...

“But of course, as a parent, you can’t take away the worry from our parents or you can’t take it away from them, especially from mothers, from momshies. They worry about us differently.

“I just promise to try my best to always make you guys proud and not be a disappointment,” Darren said, still crying.

Host Regine Velasquez told Darren, who could relate as a mother, “We’re worried. We feel like you’re more right here. That’s why we have that.”

“We, what we want for you guys is for your lives to be okay,” Asia’s Songbird said.

Another host of the show, Melai Cantiveros, added that parents feel double the pain when their children are hurt. “But it’s very normal,” Melai said regarding the fights between children and parents.
