In a turn of events worthy of a teleserye twist, Ara Davao, the daughter of award-winning actor Ricky Davao, has reportedly been left completely stunned after discovering the massive inheritance left to her by her famous father — said to be worth millions of pesos.

Sources close to the Davao family revealed that the young woman was not expecting such a large amount, leading to a wave of speculation, admiration, and online frenzy surrounding the legendary actor’s legacy and family affairs.

A Legacy Unfolds

While Ricky Davao has long been known for his powerful performances and remarkable career in film and television, what the public didn’t know was the quiet financial empire he had built over the decades. With investments in real estate, stocks, and creative projects, Davao’s net worth had reportedly ballooned, though he always maintained a humble lifestyle.

Now, with news of this jaw-dropping inheritance, fans are seeing a different side of the veteran actor — not just as a performer, but as a father who quietly built a future for his children.

Ara’s Reaction: Shock, Gratitude, and Pressure

An insider shared that Ara was visibly shaken upon learning the full extent of the inheritance. Known for keeping a relatively low profile compared to her father, Ara had no idea she was about to be thrust into a whirlwind of financial responsibility and legacy management.

“She couldn’t believe it. She was quiet for a long time after the reading of the will,” the insider shared. “Then she cried. It wasn’t about the money — it was about what it meant. That her father trusted her this much.”

The inheritance reportedly includes multiple properties, liquid assets, and shares in several business ventures — some of which are tied to the entertainment industry, hinting at Ricky’s desire to see his daughter carry on part of his legacy.

Fans React: “Boss Moves from Ricky Davao!”

Netizens took to social media in droves, praising Ricky Davao not only for his talent but for being a visionary and responsible father.

“This man really did everything for his children. Saludo kami sayo, Sir Ricky!” one fan tweeted.

“Ara is so lucky, not just for the inheritance, but for having a father who planned this all along,” another commented.

Many are also now curious if Ara plans to step further into the limelight, perhaps honoring her father’s memory by producing films or projects that reflect his values and artistry.

What’s Next for Ara?

Although Ara Davao has yet to make a full public statement, those close to her say she is deeply reflective and wants to make responsible choices with the inheritance she received. Her priorities reportedly include setting up a foundation in Ricky’s name, and exploring new creative ventures that celebrate Filipino talent — much like her father did throughout his life.

A Reminder of Ricky Davao’s Quiet Greatness

In a world obsessed with fame and headlines, Ricky Davao’s life — and now his posthumous generosity — serve as a reminder that true greatness lies not only in public achievement but also in the quiet love and preparation for those you leave behind.

As Ara Davao steps into this new chapter, she carries not only her father’s name, but also his dreams, his values, and a legacy built not on noise — but on depth, dedication, and love

Ara Davao will treasure Ricky Davao’s message
We used to spend a lot of time with Ricky Davao. And we always talk about his children.

Especially since his children Ara Davao and Rikki Mae have also entered showbiz.

We told Ara when I spoke to him at his father Ricky’s funeral, his father was super proud of him. That he always told him stories, boasted about him.

“He doesn’t tell us that. He doesn’t like to be praised.

“Maybe he’s more like that, that he prefers to show other people that he’s proud of us.

“I know he’s very proud of us no matter what. He’s just really thankful. And now that he’s gone, I’ll treasure his pride in me or us, and his advice to us,” said Ara.

What did his father often tell him back then?

“He always says that first and foremost, be professional, be kind. Because he tells us, as a director, that he would rather work with people who are not very good, or not an expert, or beginners, as long as the willingness is there, rather than the feeling that you are good,” Ara said.

Anyway, with Ara’s beauty, they say, it will go a long way. In fact, her participation in Coco Martin’s ‘FPJ’s Batang Quiapo’ has also been marked, right?

“So Direk Coco, another project there! Hahahaha!” Ara jokingly teased.

“But I am so thankful to the entire team, for the great role they gave me.

“Coco, at first I thought I would be scared, because of course, he is Coco Martin. Of course he is starstruck. But he made me comfortable.

“It’s like if he wants to correct something, or he wants me to do something, he really talks to me, and he guides me properly.

“As long as I’m here, I gave my trust for him, to the whole team. So it was a super good experience,” Ara simply said.

Anyway, Ricky’s artist friends did flock to the second night of his funeral at Heritage. We saw Cesar Montano, Michael De Mesa, Eddie Gutierrez, Annabelle Rama, Rayver Cruz, Rez Cortez, Iza Calzado, Dingdong Dantes, Sharon Cuneta, and many others.

Our heartfelt condolences to Ricky Davao’s family.
