Amidst this seismic shift in the entertainment landscape, Vice Ganda, one of the most popular and influential TV hosts today, has finally broken his silence and shared his heartfelt reaction to the news.

A Showbiz Giant Steps Down

Their departure marked not just the exit of beloved personalities but a profound turning point for the show itself. The news sent ripples throughout the industry, igniting speculation, concerns, and a bittersweet nostalgia among millions of viewers.

Vice Ganda’s Compassionate Response

In a recent interview, Vice Ganda spoke candidly about the departure of Tito, Vic, and Joey, showing a mature and compassionate understanding of the situation. Far from stirring controversy or fueling rivalry, Vice Ganda emphasized respect for TVJ’s decades of contributions to Philippine entertainment.

He acknowledged the emotional weight of the farewell, not only for TVJ but also for the Eat Bulaga! crew and fans who grew up watching the trio’s antics. Vice Ganda expressed empathy towards everyone affected by the change, recognizing that such a transition is challenging and requires grace from all parties involved.

No Ill Will, Only Gratitude

Vice Ganda was quick to assure the public that It’s Showtime, the noontime show he currently hosts, harbors no ill feelings toward TVJ or Eat Bulaga!. He stressed that despite the competition, the entertainment community should stand united in celebrating the joy they bring to Filipino audiences.

Vice Ganda also shared his gratitude towards GTV, which recently welcomed It’s Showtime as part of its programming lineup, highlighting the new opportunities for growth and connection with viewers in a changing media landscape.

A New Era for Noontime TV

The departure of TVJ from Eat Bulaga! may have closed a legendary chapter, but Vice Ganda’s reaction reveals optimism for the future. He believes that no matter who hosts or what changes occur, the heart of noontime television remains the same: to entertain, uplift, and unite Filipinos through laughter and shared experiences.

Fans and industry watchers alike are now watching closely to see how both Eat Bulaga! and It’s Showtime evolve in this new era. Will Eat Bulaga! find new hosts to fill the shoes of TVJ? How will Vice Ganda and his team continue to innovate and captivate audiences? Only time will tell, but one thing is certain—the passion for noontime entertainment in the Philippines remains as strong as ever.

Final Thoughts

Vice Ganda’s respectful and empathetic response to the TVJ farewell is a testament to his maturity and leadership in the entertainment industry. It reminds us all that even amid change and rivalry, there is room for kindness, respect, and hope.

As the curtains fall on one era and rise on another, Filipino viewers can look forward to fresh beginnings, new stories, and the timeless joy that only noontime shows can deliver. For now, the nation watches and waits—heart full of memories, eyes set on the future.

‘Dabarkads’ will be the title of Tito, Vic & Joey’s show on TV5; JoWaPao reportedly turned down TAPE’s offer?
Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto, Joey de Leon with other Eat Bulaga Dabarkads

MANY are asking if “Eat Bulaga” will still be the title of Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto and Joey de Leon’s program if it moves to another TV network.

The farewell ceremony of the hosts of the longest-running noontime show in the country yesterday, led by TVJ, was not detailed.

The Dabarkads were not given the opportunity to properly say goodbye to their program because the new management of TAPE Inc. has banned them from airing live.

'Dabarkads' na ang magiging title ng show nina Tito, Vic & Joey sa TV5; JoWaPao umayaw daw sa offer ng TAPE?

The farewell announcement of “Eat Bulaga” was watched on its official Facebook account and YouTube Channel where the events inside the studio became emotional, especially when the hosts of the show hugged at the end of the video.

This is the reason why the episode that was watched yesterday, May 31, was replayed, where in the last part of it, Tito Sen, Bossing and Boss Joey suddenly stopped and the live broadcast of them actually started.

Following this, reactions from loyal viewers of the Kapuso noontime show have been pouring in, including celebrities who have been part of the show for 44 years.

According to the information we gathered, “Eat Bulaga” will not be completely canceled because it seems that the iconic show’s transfer to TV5 is a “done deal.”

Boss Joey said in his Instagram post, “We’re not signing off… we are just taking a day off!” And it seems to be true because it is reported that TVJ and other Dabarkads will only be taking a two-week break and will be back on the show.

TV5 has not yet made an official statement about this but the rumor is that its title may not be “Eat Bulaga” but “Dabarkads”.

Meanwhile, GMA 7 itself has already said that TAPE and Eat Bulaga’s contract with them is until 2024 but there is still no certainty about what they will air in the timeslot of the said noontime program.

How true is it that the new management of TAPE Inc. allegedly offered Wally Bayola, Paolo Ballesteros and Jose Manalo to stay on “Eat Bulaga” to be the main hosts of the noontime show. But the three Dabarkads allegedly refused.
