Manila, Philippines — Actor, chef, entrepreneur, and now college graduate — Victor Neri just added another incredible milestone to his name. At 49 years old, Neri has officially graduated from college, and his now-viral graduation video has touched hearts all over the country.
In a powerful display of determination, humility, and lifelong learning, Victor walked across the stage wearing his cap and gown, greeted with thunderous applause. The moment, captured in a short video clip, shows the actor smiling with pride as his name is called — a moment that has left many in tears of inspiration.
“It’s never too late. Education doesn’t come with an expiration date,” Victor shared in a heartfelt post.
A Long-Awaited Dream Fulfilled
Victor Neri, best known for his roles in classic TV dramas, action movies, and his work as a professional chef, had paused his education years ago due to work commitments and personal responsibilities. But deep down, finishing college remained a promise he made to himself — and now, he’s fulfilled it.
“When I was younger, I had to prioritize work to support myself and my family,” Victor wrote.
“But I never stopped dreaming of that diploma.”
He enrolled in a flexible university program designed for working adults and professionals, quietly attending classes between his acting, culinary, and business engagements.

Victor’s Message: “You Can Still Begin Again”
In a short interview following his graduation, Victor reflected on the meaning of this milestone:
“This wasn’t just about a degree. It was about proving to myself — and hopefully to others — that you can still start, still grow, still finish strong, no matter where you are in life.”
He encouraged others who may have paused their education due to family, finances, or fear to pick it back up, slowly but surely.
“Even if it takes years, what matters is you didn’t quit on yourself.”
