Rumor has it that basketball player-turned-politician James Yap and actress Ciara Sotto are already a couple.
It was known to many that James was the ex-husband of Queen of all Media Kris Aquino. After that relationship, James had a relationship with Michela Cazzola, and they have two children.

To recall, back in 2022, a rumor circulated linking James Yap and Ciara Sotto. The actress debunked the rumor, but she was aware of this. Ciara was previously married to businessman Jojo Oconer, but their marriage was annulled in 2019. Then, she had a relationship with Filipino-American Ian Austin, but they broke up in 2021.
She said that the rumor linking her to James probably started at Annabelle Rama’s birthday party because she and James were seatmates. However, Ciara stressed that there was no truth to the rumor. “But no, nothing, wala talaga, saka hello, nakakahiya sa family niya,” Ciara said back then.

Just recently, the rumor linking James and Ciara resurfaced. A netizen shared on Reddit that it was already “100 percent confirmed.”
