Baba Vanga and the ‘Living Nostradamus’ Both Predict a Major Event in 2025

Two famous prophets, Baba Vanga and Athos Salomé, have both predicted that humanity will make contact with extraterrestrial life in the year 2025.

Prophecies About Aliens and a Medical Breakthrough

Both seers are said to have accurately predicted major events such as the Covid-19 pandemic, the death of Princess Diana, the global Microsoft outage, and the 9/11 attacks. Now, they believe researchers will make a major breakthrough in discovering life beyond Earth this year.

Baba Vanga, the blind Bulgarian mystic who died in 1996, once predicted that Earth would communicate with alien life during a “major sporting event.”

With the Women’s Euro final, the Women’s Rugby World Cup, and upcoming F1 races all taking place this year, it remains unclear which of these might align with her prophecy.

Meanwhile, 38-year-old Brazilian psychic Athos Salomé, dubbed the “Living Nostradamus,” believes the world is on the brink of discovering alien life thanks to the James Webb Space Telescope.

NASA describes the James Webb as “the largest, most powerful, and most complex telescope ever launched into space.” It was deployed on Christmas Day 2021.

Salomé told Femail: “Thanks to the James Webb telescope, humanity may finally receive answers about the existence of extraterrestrials, while governments like the United States could begin declassifying UFO files.”

He believes that if this comes true, “these discoveries could revolutionize our understanding of the universe we live in — and of ourselves.”

The James Webb telescope studies every stage in the history of the universe, from the first light after the Big Bang to the evolution of the Solar System.

Baba Vanga also predicted that scientists would perfect the process of cultivating human organs in laboratories this year. This means that people waiting for organ transplants would no longer have to wait—they could immediately receive the organs they need.

According to Sky History, this medical breakthrough could extend the lives of millions and potentially push the average human lifespan beyond 120 years.

Before her death in 1996, she also wrote that the year 2025 would witness devastating earthquakes as Europe is shaken by a brutal war. She wrote: “Russia will not only survive. Russia will dominate the world.”

The “Balkan prophetess” also suggested that next year, Putin would be re-elected as Russia’s leader. Putin was re-elected earlier this year, and Russia is not set to hold another presidential election until 2030.

She also predicted a devastating war in Europe that would decimate the continent’s population, along with other catastrophic natural events, including the eruption of dormant volcanoes. Specifically, she mentioned an earthquake along the west coast of the United States.

California has experienced strong earthquakes in the past, including a 7.1-magnitude quake in 2019, which fortunately resulted in no fatalities.

She also predicted that telepathy—the ability to transmit thoughts—would eventually become a reality, a concept that has fascinated scientists and futurists alike.

Warning About Technology, AI, and Quantum Computers

Salomé warned that the year 2025 could be the year “humanity loses control over technology.” He said that next year would bring radical innovations, but also unprecedented challenges.

With the rapid development of AI, quantum computing, and medical advancements, he believes the world may be on the brink of revolutionary progress—or impending disaster.

He told Femail: “2025 will be a turning point. On one hand, scientific potential could provide powerful tools to solve many issues; on the other hand, we might witness a scenario where technology is used ‘blindly’.”

The prophet stated that this dilemma would also hold crucial answers for the year ahead. Are we building progress for the future—or rushing into chaos? It seems the world is standing at its most critical crossroads yet.

Salomé predicted that in 2025, AI will reach an unimaginable level: “Advanced systems will be capable of operating in multiple fields simultaneously, simulating human thought.”

“An AI might be able to design buildings, plan advertising campaigns, and diagnose illnesses in a matter of seconds. However, as we give more and more power to machines, the question arises: what happens if we lose control?” he said.

Discussing the disruptive potential of quantum computers, Salomé said, “Quantum computers, once confined to laboratories, may soon be able to solve real-world problems.”

Salomé also warned that governments, banks, and institutions might face an unprecedented cyber crisis.

Regarding the possibility of AI benefiting humanity, he said: “Imagine a future where the human brain can connect directly to AI. This technology could treat neurological disorders, but it also raises terrifying risks: mind intrusion and thought manipulation. Are we ready to give up our last stronghold of privacy—our own minds?”
