A former high school classmate of Marian Rivera has come forward and exposed what they claim was the actress’s bad behavior back then. In recent days, Marian’s cryptic repost—particularly the words “with me”—has been heavily discussed online. She reposted it after a trending video of her husband Dingdong Dantes reuniting with his ex-girlfriend Karylle surfaced on social media.

Netizens speculated that it may have been Marian’s indirect response to Dingdong and Karylle’s reunion, possibly a jab at Karylle. Adding fuel to the fire, Marian’s recent interview with Karen Davila stirred more controversy when she said she had forgiven the women she once fought with.

Karen: “Have you made peace with all the women you had issues with before?”
Marian: “I think so. I even took the initiative and said, ‘I forgive you.’”
Karen: “You said that?”
Marian: “Yes.”

This statement drew negative reactions from netizens, who pointed out that she was allegedly the one who instigated conflicts and yet she was the one acting as if she was the one extending forgiveness.

Related to this, a former classmate of Marian’s from both high school and college spoke up on social media and revealed an alleged incident where Marian confronted her, splashed her with soft drinks, and pulled her hair—all because of a baseless rumor. According to the post, Marian was quick to believe gossip.

The classmate said she fought back, so both of them were suspended for a week. “I just saw the post in Hampas Lupa Bodies 4.0—spill the tea edition. Let me share this. It was 1998, just kids fighting, really. This isn’t meant to start another fight like people are claiming. I watched her full interview and just laughed at what she said about the women she used to fight with because of Dong.”

“So I’m sharing now: We were in second-year high school at SFAs Bayanan. She poured soft drinks on me and pulled my hair over a false rumor. We both ended up in guidance, got suspended, had to clean the canteen, and were kicked off varsity. But I’ve forgiven you, Marian Rivera Gracia. Haha. She just believed in gossip too much. She was a good friend back then. We sat next to each other because our surnames were close alphabetically. We were both in the dance group and varsity team. But one gossip-loving classmate badmouthed me to her—and she believed it. She barged in with a plastic bag of soft drinks. Our parents were even called in. Hahaha.”

“This happened again in college at De La Salle University-Dasmariñas. She stormed into a classroom when we ran into each other, and I just said, ‘This has been your issue since high school. You still haven’t moved on?’ We were young and immature, like everyone else back then. Gossiping and drama were the norm. So now, dear gossipers, I’ve posted it. I think it was during her Marimar days.”

It can be recalled that Marian Rivera had multiple public feuds in showbiz, including with Bela Padilla. GMA Network even had to intervene to settle their dispute. Rumors had circulated that Marian was jealous of Bela Padilla, who was working with Dingdong Dantes on the remake of Endless Love. Allegedly, Marian once locked Bela in a restroom.

She also previously had a falling out with Heart Evangelista. According to Heart, Marian confronted her with harsh words and even threats because of jealousy involving Dingdong. Marian allegedly even went to her dressing room to confront her.

“She barged into my room twice. She yelled at me and made threats,” Heart said.

Marian also reportedly clashed with Karylle, allegedly offended by Karylle’s smile during an interview with Boy Abunda about a pregnancy rumor. “She could’ve just answered ‘I don’t know,’ but her reaction was suspicious. I’ll admit, I was offended,” Marian reportedly said.

As of now, Marian Rivera has not issued a statement in response to her former classmate’s revelations.
