Zeinab Harake Did Not Invite Her Own Mother to Her Wedding – Is It True?

Could it really be true that Zeinab Harake’s own mother, Mariafe Ocampo, was not invited to her lavish wedding with basketball player Bobby Ray Parks Jr.?

Social media is now abuzz with a post from a netizen who claimed to have seen the social media star’s mother at a convenience store in Cavite.

“I saw Zeinab’s mother on June 1 between 6 PM to 7:30 PM at Alfamart in Silang, Cavite. Two women entered the store, and one of them—an older woman—was wearing formal attire, like she had just come from an event.

“While entering, she was saying something like (not exact words but same thought), ‘I’m her real mother, and Zeinab didn’t let me into the wedding.’ ‘Do they want to be famous? They’ll be even more famous with what they’re doing. I’ll post both of them—Zeinab and Ray Parks—on my Facebook.’”
– according to the netizen’s comment.

Following this, other netizens—reportedly including Ivana Alawi—checked the Facebook and TikTok accounts of Zeinab and her mother and confirmed that the woman seen was indeed Zeinab’s biological mother.

In the vlog of the wedding posted by Zeinab herself, it was evident that her mother was not presentonly her father walked her down the aisle.

Upon visiting her mother’s Facebook account, cryptic stories were found that seemed to allude to emotional hurt:

“When people hurt you emotionally, take it as a sign that they are not worth your presence. Distance yourself and don’t let them ruin your mental health. Your inner peace matters more.”

In another story, her mother wrote:

“Toxic people will do you dirty, then try to convince people that you’re the problem.”

Meanwhile, Zeinab’s manager Jhay Isidro was asked why her mother was not present on her big day. He gave a brief reply:

“Not feeling well,” he said.

However, this explanation only added fuel to the rumors of a possible rift between mother and daughter, especially after Zeinab recently posted this cryptic message:

“Listen to God, not them.”

At this time, BANDERA remains open to hearing Zeinab’s side of the story and any clarification regarding her mother’s absence on what should have been the most important day of her life.
