Just recently, Claudine admitted that she is currently facing a serious problem that has deeply frightened her, especially due to threats against her life. According to her, her very own brother, Mito Barretto, threatened to harm her and also warned that he would expose her alleged involvement in bad habits.

When she was interviewed by Jobert, he asked where her brother’s resentment came from and why he would threaten her. Claudine replied, “I didn’t really want to go public with this. But when your life is being threatened, or your reputation is being destroyed—and you’ve seen the messages—what else can you do?”

She added, “Lately, I’ve been receiving threatening messages, which is why the NBI was here earlier. I’ve also been getting phone calls with no caller ID, and when I try to return the call, it can’t be reached.” Claudine admitted she is now extremely fearful for her safety and that of her children due to the growing threats. She didn’t want to make this public, as it’s a family matter, but the threats have become too serious to ignore.

She emphasized that the reason she decided to speak out and grant an interview is because she’s been receiving direct intimidation. According to Jobert, Mito’s anger may have been triggered by something Chry allegedly told him—that a reliable source claimed Marjorie went deaf because Dennis (her then-husband) had hit her.

The story goes that Marjorie confided in their brother Mito, and he didn’t take the incident lightly. Since Chry had just spoken to Claudine, Mito assumed that Claudine was the one who spread the story. However, Claudine strongly denied being the source of that rumor.
