Every day, many people still visit the tomb of the late superstar and National Artist Nora Aunor at the Libingan ng mga Bayani (Heroes’ Cemetery). This was shared by one of Ate Guy’s children, Lotlot de Leon, after visiting her late mother’s grave together with her children and brother.

The award-winning actress posted a family photo on her Instagram page taken in front of Ate Guy’s tomb. In the photo were Lotlot, her brother Kiko, and her four children — Diego, Maxine, Jessica, and Janine Gutierrez. Also joining them at the visit was Janine’s boyfriend, Jericho Rosales.

“Two days ago, we visited mom with her apos and Echo and my brother Kiko. The place where mom is has already been cleaned and taken care of,” part of the actress’s message read. Lotlot expressed deep gratitude for the continued respect people show her mother. She, Janine, and Jericho discovered that many still visit Ate Guy’s resting place. “Every day, there are still a lot of people who come to visit her.”

“There are times I wait in the car when I visit her because there are so many people. And I see how they pay their respects to mom. Thank you for your love for her. Thank you to those who visit and always bring new candles and flowers for mommy. I’m sure she’s smiling from above and is happy. Thank you for always praying for her too,” she added.

She also thanked the officials and staff at the Libingan ng mga Bayani. “The place where mommy is has been well-maintained. It’s very clean and beautiful. I’m really grateful for your care — from the bottom of my heart.
