Congressman Alby Benitez has finally spoken up about the real status of his relationship with Ivana Alawi and addressed the complaint filed against him by his wife.

Congressman Alby Benitez has broken his silence regarding the rumors currently circulating on social media about the true nature of his relationship with vlogger and actress Ivana Alawi.

This comes after his former wife, Nicki Benitez, filed a complaint accusing Ivana of being her husband’s mistress. The public was shocked by this allegation, as many did not expect Ivana to be involved with a married man. However, many of Ivana’s fans didn’t believe the rumors and claimed that it was merely an attempt to ruin her reputation, possibly out of jealousy from Alby’s ex-wife.

It can be recalled that photos of Ivana and Congressman Alby surfaced in 2024, taken at an airport in Japan, where the two were seen together. But Ivana quickly denied the rumors at the time, stating that they had just coincidentally been at the airport at the same time.

Still, many remained curious.

Meanwhile, the mayor’s camp questioned the intentions of his former wife, Mrs. Benitez, especially since she included incidents that happened over 21 years ago in her complaint. According to the congressman, he had never failed his wife. To prove this, Mayor Benitez’s camp revealed that his wife received mansions in Forbes Park and Dasmariñas Village, all fully paid. This reportedly also included a condominium, luxury vehicles, and stocks. Even to this day, the mayor is said to still be covering his wife’s expenses.

He also appealed to the public not to drag Ivana into the issue, as she has nothing to do with the personal conflict between him and his ex-wife.

For now, many still believe that Ivana and Congressman Alby do indeed have a relationship—but are keeping it secret.
