Sarah Lahbati’s New Boyfriend Grabs Attention
Sarah Lahbati’s new boyfriend is now the talk of the town. According to circulating rumors, her new beau is allegedly a politician from an extremely wealthy and influential family.
Sarah is widely regarded as one of the most beautiful faces in the Philippine showbiz industry. She first gained public attention after being crowned the ultimate female survivor of StarStruck Season 5. Since then, she landed multiple projects with GMA Network—until she got involved in a controversy in 2013 when she left the network and flew to Switzerland after getting pregnant by actor Richard Gutierrez. She gave birth to their first son, Zion, at only 19 years old.
Despite the controversies, Sarah and Richard remained open about their relationship. A few years later, they got married in 2020 and were blessed with another son named Kai. However, in March 2024, Sarah Lahbati confirmed their separation.
What many people didn’t know is that Sarah has reportedly found new love with first-term congressman Marty Romualdez. Marty is the son of House Speaker Martin Romualdez and Tingog Party-list Representative Yedda Marie Romualdez, and the nephew of President Bongbong Marcos.
Before entering politics, Marty was known as a private individual. Despite his family’s wealth and influence, he spent several years living and studying in the United States.
According to a report by veteran showbiz columnist Salve Asis of The Philippine Star, Sarah and Congressman Marty are allegedly in a relationship. A reliable source claims that Sarah is “lucky” to be with Marty, who is described as smart, handsome, and rich. Both Sarah and Congressman Marty are said to prefer keeping their relationship private, which is why they have not gone public with it.
However, even if their relationship is serious, the two cannot marry yet as Sarah’s annulment with her ex-husband Richard Gutierrez has not been finalized.
