Kapamilya actress Ivana Alawi made it clear that she has never been, nor will ever be, a homewrecker or someone who destroys families.

In her latest vlog, Ivana underwent a lie detector test alongside her mother and brother, Hash Alawi, while her youngest sister, Mona Alawi, served as the one asking the questions.

Unlike their previous lie detector challenge, this time Ivana was connected to a real machine, with a professional monitoring whether each answer was a “truth” or a “lie.”

One of the questions Mona asked was, “Have you ever destroyed a family?”

Without hesitation, Ivana firmly answered, “No.”

Suspense built up as they waited for the result—then it showed: Truth.

“I wasn’t raised to ruin families,” Ivana declared after her answer was confirmed as truthful.

She continued, “I respect families, especially because we ourselves come from a broken one. What, I’d go and ruin someone else’s family? That would make me crazy.”

Ivana also emphasized that despite her fame, she is a private person.

“I don’t really show everything. I keep some stuff private,” the actress said.

Just last month, Ivana’s name made headlines when it was mentioned in a complaint affidavit filed by Dominique “Nikki” Benitez against her husband, Congressman Albee Benitez, for allegedly violating Republic Act No. 9262, or the Anti-Violence Against Women and Their Children Act of 2004.

The producer-politician later issued an official statement through his legal counsel, denying all of his wife’s allegations.

Meanwhile, Ivana has remained silent about the issue and has yet to release any official statement regarding the linking of her name to the complaint.

It can be recalled that even before this controversy, Ivana was already rumored to be linked to Congressman Albee after they were spotted together at the airport. However, the actress denied this, saying she was not his girlfriend and that the congressman was merely one of the politicians she had worked with and become friends with.
