Carla Estrada Admits to the Public the True Father of Daniel Padilla 

So many issues have been surfacing in the world of showbiz lately—cheating scandals everywhere and cryptic posts from celebrities. But what truly shocked the public this time was the revelation made by Queen Mother Carla Estrada, as she allegedly revealed the identity of the real father of her eldest son, Teen King Daniel Padilla.

We all know that Daniel comes from the Padilla clan, and Carla has always been vocal about the fact that her four children have different fathers—meaning four different men have come into her life. Many also believe that Daniel’s father is Rommel Padilla, as Carla introduced him to the public as such, and he is also the man Daniel grew up knowing and calling “dad.”

However, what many believed turned out not to be the truth.

In an interview with the Queen Mother during a Valentine’s Day special where she was a guest, Carla opened up about the current state of her heart. She said that she is definitely single and has no love life at the moment. This is no secret, as it was reported that she and her ex-boyfriend J. Ignacio had broken up, and he later got into a relationship with someone new. Meanwhile, Carla remained single. She’s not actively looking for someone, but if someone comes along, she’s open to the possibility.

Then the press asked about her son, Daniel Padilla. She said he’s doing fine, doing good—but what surprised everyone was when she suddenly brought up the real identity of Daniel’s father.

She said that for a long time, many have been asking whether Rommel Padilla is truly Daniel’s biological father. Carla admitted:

“I kept the truth hidden for so long for the sake of everyone involved. It was painful for me—especially during the time I had to step away from showbiz because of my pregnancy. But I don’t regret it. What hurt the most was seeing that there was no real accountability or clear decisions made back then for Daniel.”

And then she revealed the truth:

“The real father of Daniel is actually Robin Padilla. Rommel only claimed him because at that time, Robin’s career was at its peak. He couldn’t risk it being ruined by scandal. Robin was very famous then—doing a lot of movies and endorsements. It would’ve been a big scandal if it came out that he fathered a child. Carla, on the other hand, wasn’t as famous back then, so she could quietly step back from the spotlight and eventually return to showbiz—and she did.”

It’s also noticeable how Daniel has inherited Robin’s gestures, demeanor, and even his way of speaking—all of which strongly support the revelation that Robin Padilla is indeed Daniel’s biological father.
