It was a heartbreaking update from Kris Aquino herself, who revealed that she is currently confined in a hospital undergoing a series of medical tests related to her deteriorating autoimmune condition.
Through her Instagram account, she disclosed the real state of her health, which left her fans deeply saddened. Kris also mentioned plans to relocate to a place where she can breathe in fresh air, which could help ease her condition. She said, “You are going to get a lot of Bim. I am currently confined now, getting a 2D echo. Tomorrow it’s my PET scan.”
She continued, “I will give you a complete health update and we are choosing where we will be living. I need fresh air and a cooler climate. The sea breeze will be wonderful. Do you have any suggestions?”
It can be recalled that she previously admitted her blood pressure had spiked to 165/112. She’s also experiencing an intense lupus flare. She said, “My fever reached 40.2°C and my face turned purplish red. It felt like I was burning. My lungs are really struggling because of my multiple and very rare autoimmune diseases.”
Meanwhile, Kris expressed her heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has been praying for her and standing by her side—especially her son, who loves her dearly and never tires of caring for her.
In the latter part of her post, she hinted that she’s considering settling in Tarlac, where she can enjoy fresh air and live in a more stress-free environment.
As of now, Kris is battling not just one but nine autoimmune diseases, with the unfortunate news that a new one was recently added to the list. This presents yet another major challenge for her, especially since her body is already overwhelmed by all the medications she has to take.
