The three siblings laid to rest after heartbreaking tragedy involving their own mother

The three young siblings who died after being set on fire by their own mother—who then took her own life—have now been laid to rest. The entire Aspero family is overcome with grief, mourning the devastating fate that befell their loved ones.

Amid this tragedy, the children’s father has been left alone, bearing the unbearable weight of their loss, his heart shattered by the events. Joyce, the mother, was laid to rest first on May 22. Reports say that the funeral of the three children was held separately and away from Joyce’s, whose wake took place in Batangas—something that angered her side of the family.

In a post, a relative named An wrote:
“Farewell, Joyce. May you and your children now find eternal peace and love.
Even though you weren’t together during your children’s wake and burial—something I’m sure you never would have wanted—fate was still cruel, separating you even in death. But I know, wherever you are now, you are reunited.

As a wife, mother, and grandmother, I extend my deepest condolences to those who loved Joyce and her children. I too continue to mourn. It is painful to lose someone you love, but all of us will eventually die, in ways only God understands.

Now, Joyce, you no longer have to worry. No more stress over not having enough money for your children. No more fear of them going hungry. Even if you rest in a different place from your children, you know they are no longer suffering—they are angels now, in heaven.

Rest in peace, Joyce, and to your children as well. I may not have known you personally, but I am deeply moved and saddened by your story.

I understand why you did what you did. It also pains Joyce’s family to know that it was because of her husband that she took her life and those of her children. That policeman’s life should have been taken too, and her villainous mother-in-law—she was infuriating. They must be happy now that Joyce is gone.

Her husband can freely chase other women now. But karma will come for them both.
What you sow is what you reap.
Joyce wasn’t lucky in love, in her marriage, nor in the life she chose with the man she stayed with.

The promise of staying together through thick and thin—but when hardship came, she was left to face it alone.
One of the most painful things for a woman is when her partner is not by her side during hard times, especially when her partner sides with others against her.

Only the Lord truly knows who among them deserves punishment.
Wounds may heal, but the memories will never be erased.

It’s clear the man didn’t truly care. Even in death, he made sure Joyce and her children were separated at the wake.
