In the days following the passing of National Artist and Philippine cinema icon Nora Aunor, her daughter Lotlot de Leon took to social media to share a deeply emotional letter addressed to her beloved “Ma.”
In her message, Lotlot opened up about the quiet conversations she continues to have with her mother, even in her absence.
“Hi Ma… I find myself talking to you every day, and I know you’re listening,” she wrote, her words heavy with love, longing, and a sense of spiritual connection.
Lotlot revealed that she had already expressed everything she needed to say to her mother while she was still alive, and now holds tightly to the final wish Nora entrusted to her: to look after her siblings and grandchildren.
“Ma, you taught me to be strong — and I’m really trying to live that,” she said. “So many people love you, Ma. So much! I hope you can see it. They all showed up for you and our family, and we, your children, are incredibly grateful.”
She mentioned her siblings — Ian, Matet, Kiko, and Ken — highlighting the unity they now hold even more dearly in light of their mother’s passing.
“Just please keep looking after us, Ma. I know you won’t let us down with the decisions we’ll make as siblings. And because of you, we’ve grown even closer. We promise to take care of your legacy, Ma. We, your children, will carry it forward.”
Ending her letter with tenderness and grace, Lotlot wrote:
“Rest easy, Ma…
Your daughter forever,
Lot.”

Ang mga funds ay binigyan ng dalawang araw mula umaga 10:00 kung tayo nagkakamali hanggang 4:00. At ayon nga sa ilan ay napakaikli nga daw ng panahon na iyon para sa mga fans.
Pero ayon nga kay Lotlot ang buong buhay ng kanyang ina ay inialay nito sa publiko. Napakadalang na nakasama ang kanilang ina nung sila ay palaki at si Lotlot nga ang tila naging ina sa kanyang apat na mga kapatid. Kaya naman siguro hindi napigilan ni Nadia Montenegro na magsalita ng ganito. Sa Facebook page naman ni Jen Morera ay ibinahagi niya ang nasabi nga pong post na ito ng kami.net.
ph kung saan sinabi ni Nadja Montenegro na marami ang pumapapel kaya hindi masolo ni Lutlot ang kanyang ina. Say ni Jen wala naman pong pumapapel. Siguro marami lang talaga ang nagmamahal kay ate Gis Nora Unor. Si Jen Morera ang tila avid fan ni Nora Unor na nakasama nito at laging nandiyan para sa superstar.
Ito’y base na rin sa kanyang mga latest posts. Ang unang post niya ay ito kung saan ibinahagi niya ang kanyang sentimyento matapos nga na pumanaw ang nasabing superstar sa ospital dahil sa sakit. Sa mga naging Facebook post nitong si Jen Morera, makikita na malalim ang pinagsamahan nila ng superstar dahil nakakasama niya ito sa tahanan pati sa mga bandingan ay sila sila ang magkakasama ng superstar.
