[Music] Recently, Lotlot de Leon shared on her Instagram their visit to her mother, Nora Aunor. It was for an advanced Mother’s Day. While it wasn’t explicitly labeled as such, according to Lotlot, she and her siblings had already agreed to visit their mother, the Superstar, regardless of the occasion.

So whether there’s a special event or not, they made it a point to go to their mother’s grave. According to Lotlot:

“The other day, all of mommy’s children and even her grandchildren talked. We planned a visit to see mommy. And since our homes are far from each other, we knew we had to take turns when it comes to visiting her.”

What’s heartwarming is that they all made sure to assign morning and afternoon shifts so there would always be two people with their mother.

One netizen caught attention when they commented on Lotlot’s post, saying:

“You should’ve done that when the Superstar was still alive. Visiting someone after they’ve passed is meaningless. She needed your care when she was still alive—but you were nowhere.”

Here are some reactions to that comment:

“I knew someone would say something like this—some know-it-all old person. Just wanted to say something. It’s too late. She can’t feel your presence anymore.”

Another said, “Stop being so judgmental. We don’t know what happened in their personal lives. Just be happy for them.”

Someone else replied, “Wait, are you a Noranian?”
The original commenter said, “No, I’m not a Noranian. You don’t know anything. You’re just saying stuff. Let’s not bring up the pain of losing their mother again.”

Meanwhile, many still can’t move on and continue to miss Ate Guy—the Superstar Nora Aunor. Even her old commercials, such as the one for Liberty Condensada, where she appeared with her eldest daughter Lotlot de Leon, are being reshared by fans online from Jojo de Vera’s collection.

Many were delighted by the commercial because you could clearly see Nora’s sweetness as a mother. It didn’t look like she was acting—just a genuine moment between Ate Guy and Lotlot de Leon.

Indeed, Lotlot was the very first person Nora loved deeply. That’s why their separation was so painful, and the heavy responsibility Ate Guy left with Lotlot was overwhelming. Still, Lotlot showed nothing but love for her mother.
