A Tearful Scene: Vilma Santos Faints Upon Seeing the Remains of Her Son Luis Manzano
Today, the entertainment world is abuzz with the heartbreaking news of TV host and actor Luis Manzano’s passing at the age of 44. According to sources, the news began to spread rapidly when a loved one shared on Instagram the actor’s sudden departure from this world, allegedly due to an illness that led to overwhelming stress and anxiety—something he could no longer bear in the end.
In an interview, his father Edu Manzano expressed that Luis was barely recognizable in his current state. Even in the latest circulated photo of Luis, netizens were visibly shaken and poured out their emotions online, expressing deep sympathy for Luis, his surviving family, and his child.
Despite the grief, some fans and netizens extended their condolences and prayers to the Manzano family. Many are still praying sincerely and hoping for a miraculous recovery. Friends from the showbiz industry, such as Alex Gonzaga and Billy Crawford, also offered prayers during a live tribute, hoping for Luis’s recovery.
However, as the situation worsened, the Manzano and Santos families expressed immense gratitude for the continued support and prayers that have given them strength throughout this difficult time. Sadly, Luis’s doctor released an official statement, revealing the grim reality that the actor had already “let go” after battling an incurable illness. The family was given a difficult choice, as Luis’s life was now only being sustained by oxygen.
Reports added that arrangements were being made to bring Luis back to the Philippines as soon as possible, as his condition could deteriorate at any moment. In light of this, the doctors spoke frankly to both families—asking for their decision regarding Luis’s care, knowing that time was running out.
Not long after, the family of Luis Manzano officially appeared before the public to confirm that the actor and TV host had passed away on May 24, 2025.
