Emotions Overflow: Massive Crowd Gathers for Luis Manzano’s Public Viewing Following Final Night of His Wake
Just today, May 28, 2025, the Santos family officially announced the holding of a public viewing for the late TV host and actor Luis Manzano. According to them, it was their way of giving Luis’s supporters and fans a chance to see their idol one last time and bid him farewell.
In the latest photo shared by his wife, Jessy Mendiola, it could be seen that their home was filled with people during the final night of Luis Manzano’s wake. The overwhelming crowd reflected just how deeply people loved and supported the actor, even until the very end.
According to sources, TV host and actor Luis Manzano—known in real life as Luis Philip Santos Manzano—passed away at the age of 44 due to a horrific act allegedly committed by his stepfather, something his body could no longer endure. His mother, Vilma Santos, and their children were in deep shock, unable to fully comprehend the sudden and tragic turn of events that left Luis fighting for his life.
However, the family is now slowly beginning to accept the painful truth—that Luis’s mission in this world may have already been fulfilled and that God has now called him home. They believe everything happens for a reason, even if that reason has left them grieving so soon for their beloved Luis.
In a heartbreaking statement, Vilma Santos said:
“With deep sorrow and heavy hearts, we share the passing of our beloved son, Luis Philip Santos Manzano, also known as Luis Manzano, who left us today, May 28, 2025, at the age of 44.
He was the heart of our family—a source of unconditional love, strength, and warmth. His kindness, wisdom, and beautiful spirit touched everyone who knew him.
He will be missed beyond words and remembered forever.
We love you forever, my son.”
Following her statement, many netizens and celebrity friends were seen grieving deeply and expressing their condolences to the Santos family. During the public viewing held today, emotions ran high and tears flowed freely.
Close friends from the showbiz industry—including Toni Gonzaga, Vice Ganda, Billy Crawford, and Anne Curtis—were visibly devastated, some even breaking down in sobs, unable to believe how suddenly their dear friend was taken from them. Still, they promised to keep Luis in their hearts and minds forever, with the hope that one day, they would all meet again in the next life.
