Gerald Anderson has finally broken his silence on rumors of a breakup between him and longtime girlfriend Julia Barretto, confirming that they are still together.

The actor addressed the speculation during his guest appearance on Toni Gonzaga’s Toni Talks episode uploaded today.

“People think na naghiwalay kayo ni Julia (People think you and Julia have broken up),” Gonzaga asked.

Anderson replied, “No, we’re okay. Kanina, hinatid ko siya sa airport. Papunta sila sa Dubai (Earlier, I drove her to the airport. They’re going to Dubai).”

He also clarified that contrary to online speculation, no couple photos have been deleted from social media. Anderson expressed frustration over how netizens equate online activity with the state of a relationship.

When asked to describe his relationship with Barretto, Anderson said, “It’s deeper,” adding that Julia is very loving and motherly — just like her mom.

“Her love, values, and support inspire me to be better and give her 100 percent,” he said.

Now in their fifth year together, Anderson admitted that the relationship has had its ups and downs, but those trials have only strengthened their bond.
