It’s hard to find the right words right now…
To say that this has been the most difficult time I have ever gone through in my whole life.

To be greeted with “Happy Birthday” and “Sorry for your loss” at the same time—
Three consecutive days that were supposed to be a celebration, full of birthdays.

May was our month—
The 5th, the 28th, the 29th, and the 30th.

But on the morning of Tuesday, May 27th, my husband suddenly passed away.
To those who knew him from his early acting days, he was Kiko.
But to our three children and me, he was simply DaddyDada.

Today would have been his 51st birthday.
Please keep our family in your thoughts and prayers.

We kindly ask for privacy during this incredibly difficult time as we try to navigate this loss.
Memorial arrangements will be shared soon.

TV and film director [name] shared on Facebook:
“The entire TGIS barkada is heartbroken to lose one of our own.
We just confirmed with Red’s wife, Sandy Sternberg, that he passed away a few days ago.
Their family asks for privacy and kind understanding as they cope with this sudden loss.

We love you, Red, and we’re sending you a big group hug right now.
We’re all deeply saddened.”

Red, who played Michelle’s Kiko in TGIS, will always be remembered as a good friend.
Our entire community is devastated.
