This was confirmed by Cristy Fermin on her show that same afternoon.

“The truth is, she passed away at 3:00 AM yesterday. But while she was undergoing dialysis, she was struck by a heart attack,” Cristy said.

Although their friendship had hit some rough patches in the past, Cristy shared that their care and love for each other never truly disappeared.

“There were times when Manay Lolit and I had differing opinions. But those weren’t enough to break our friendship,” Cristy said.

That’s why Cristy said she was deeply hurt upon hearing the news of Lolit’s passing — admitting that she cried uncontrollably yesterday.

“Yesterday morning, OG Diaz, Salve, and I… we wept without stopping. When someone you love dies, it’s as if a part of your heart dies with them.”
