According to the post on the Facebook page Leb Stop, Noranians are calling for the title of “superstar” to be stopped from being attributed to the new actress.
The post says, “Stop calling #KathrynBernardo as an Asia Superstar. There is only one superstar. #Nora is the true legend of a superstar. Her accomplishments are unparalleled, and she achieved them through hard work. Nora Aunor is an example of an artist who, despite not being wealthy or coming from a prominent family, proved that fame is not hindered by these factors. Patience, love for her fans, and for everyone around her were the keys to her success and true superstardom. We are so proud of you, Nora Aunor.”
It continues, “She was truly a superstar who was humble, and her fans were like family and friends. Where can you find a superstar who isn’t intimidating to approach? It’s her kindness that makes you feel comfortable. This is why many fans understand the sentiments of avid fans who believe the title of ‘superstar’ should only go to Nora Aunor.”
The comments from fans emphasize, “No one can match the talent and character of Nora Aunor. She is one of a kind. She is the only one. No matter what others say, they are not on Nora Aunor’s level. They should stop calling Kathryn Bernardo a superstar because she is not at the level of Miss Nora Aunor. When you’re called a superstar, everything is included with it. Miss Nora Aunor is the one and only superstar.”
