Entertainment columnist Dindo Balares has shared a new update about the current condition of the Queen of All Media, Kris Aquino, who has long been battling serious autoimmune diseases. In Balares’ recent article, he revealed that he is currently with Kris, who is residing in a private beachfront vacation home.

He expressed deep sorrow and was moved by the condition of the TV host-actress, saying that she is very thin and almost unrecognizable due to the severe decline in her health. In the midst of this, Kris reportedly told him, “Now you’ve seen my suffering, Kuya Dindo?” These were Kris’ quiet and frail words as she lay down while he helped adjust the position of her head on the pillow.

They were in the middle of one of their conversations during his 10-day stay with her at the private resort owned by her generous and caring family friends. They talked about many things, and Kris gave him permission to write about and share their conversation with her loyal followers, including photos. Kris agreed.

Unintentionally, Kris gave him some of the greatest life lessons while he was caring for her. He shared that he would be writing and posting these reflections once he had gathered his thoughts.

Despite her delicate health, Kris’s strong faith and courage remain unwavering. Balares also disclosed that Kris continues her treatment, which includes testing various medications for her multiple autoimmune diseases such as lupus, Churg-Strauss syndrome, and others.

Due to complications, some medications are not immediately compatible with her body, which is why doctors continue to search for the right treatment combination. Kris also expressed her deep gratitude to the people who continue to pray and support her — saying that throughout her more than two-year battle with illness, she has felt that she is not alone.

In the end, Balares appealed to the public to continue praying for Kris. He said, “What she’s going through is no joke.” But despite all the hardships, Kris remains strong — a testament to her resilience as a mother, sister, and individual who refuses to give up in the fight of life.
