Up to now, Vice Ganda’s latest vlog is still being talked about on social media. He was criticized for publicly shaming MC, whom he called out for allegedly not knowing how to get along with others. MC was seen crying after Vice reprimanded him. Some people said the comedian was too harsh on MC and that he could’ve addressed the issue in private instead.

Although some disagreed with Vice’s actions, others understood his blunt personality. Rumors even surfaced that some scenes were edited out of the vlog. For several days now, MC and Lassy haven’t been seen on It’s Showtime. Some suspect that the two may have resigned and could no longer endure Vice’s bullying.

According to Ogie Diaz on his vlog, a source confirmed that MC was indeed hurt by what Vice did and is currently trying to cool off from the situation, which is why he’s not appearing on Showtime. Some say there’s now an air of awkwardness between the two.

🎵 “You know, a wounded heart has every right to rest.” That’s true.

MC is currently not attending Showtime. Is this just a break, or has he really decided to leave the show because of the public shaming by Vice Ganda? Or let’s consider another possibility—maybe Vice Ganda isn’t letting him in anymore. That’s also possible, right?

Or maybe MC himself decided not to show up for now because if he does come, and he isn’t given a proper moment or is just made fun of again, what’s the point of being there? Plus, the awkwardness… How can he go on and act normal with someone who publicly hurt him? You know what I mean? That’s real.

And when we’re hurt and want to avoid confrontation, we find ways to escape it. Unless MC has already fully decided to break away from Vice Ganda altogether.

Or maybe his family—his siblings or relatives—are questioning why he’s still returning to a show where he was treated that way. “Why go back to a place where you were humiliated?” Going back might only show Vice that he can do it to MC again—that MC will keep coming back anyway. It creates that dynamic. And maybe Vice thinks MC needs him. Right?

Let’s hear from some of our CFMers, starting with the Juris Doctor Channel:

“If I were MC, I might also choose to walk away for now. It’s hard to function in an environment where there’s unequal treatment. Sure, you’re all friends, but there are limits to jokes. Especially when you constantly feel like the punchline. Sometimes, you need to stand up for your self-respect, even if others think you’re being dramatic.

But MC, if you want to cool off, come here to the US. We can adopt you. A lot of people are ready to welcome you. Just message me anytime.”

Juris said a lot of people want to “adopt” MC. Naturally, that stems from sympathy. People truly feel sorry for him. John also said, “If I were MC, I wouldn’t return either. Why would I expose myself again only to be humiliated? No thanks. We really need to protect ourselves.”

Boy Caragay shared, “But last Saturday, he was still on Showtime. That was his last appearance. Maybe he really took offense or just wanted to take a break.”

Tita Julie Paras said, “MC paid ₱80,000 only to be humiliated? That’s such a heavy burden.” A lot of people truly sympathize with MC. Just like you, who also spent ₱80,000 only to be disrespected.

Tita Nene Ulanday said, “MC, maybe you should cool off first. It might reach a point where he never returns because he’s always being humiliated.”

John added, “Let Vice Ganda find someone else to mess with on Showtime. I doubt he’ll find anyone as talented as MC and Lassy. Good luck finding a new plaything, Vice Ganda.”

Jordan Chua, also known as “Lugaw,” said he doesn’t want to be left out of stories like this. That can’t happen.

Lolo Malig said, “Nanay, I really feel what happened to MC because I’ve experienced it myself. It’s extremely hard and painful. I feel so sorry for MC.” Meanwhile, Romel is pleased that after a long time, you have someone new to care for.

Ara is now a working girl and will be part of Team Replay.

Obet Sapin said, “I also want to say that MC and Lassy were always the targets. Vice made it a habit to criticize and ‘bully’ them. Take all the time you need, MC. You’re talented. You won’t be left behind.”

He added, “Vice Ganda really loves power-tripping and bullying. He always shames people in public and acts so entitled. What about mental health?” That’s what I was saying to Romel earlier—what about the mental health of the people Vice publicly humiliates? We really feel bad for MC. We hope he’s okay. Thank you and God bless.

Obet Sapin, thank you for the reminder. Romel and I were just talking about this earlier—that MC’s youngest brother is a doctor. That’s why I asked Romel about MC’s mental health. Because it’s not as simple as people think. Unlike before, when a little teasing was fine, public humiliation is a different story. Thank you, Obet Dan Cabesillas. The wound Vice Ganda left in MC runs deep.

The people Vice kicks around—even off-camera—also have feelings. These are the real issues.

JP Plata, the son of Tita Dolor, shared a different perspective: “I’m a fan of the Bex Squad Vlogs, and most of them complain that MC is bossy and overly controlling—like no one’s allowed to sit on the sofa or eat at the dining area. That might be why no one spoke out. Maybe they all felt the same way about MC. MC treated other members of the BEX the same way.”

JP, we shared on SNN that their statements might have been edited. They weren’t given a chance to present their side. That’s what we want—to show the full and uncut truth. Not a version that makes it seem like the other Beks just allowed MC to be mistreated. Some of them spoke up, but their voices weren’t shown.

One person texted me, a fellow comedy bar colleague, and said that “Chuchu” never really changed. That’s the name they used for Vice. You know what that means, right? They referred to him as “horse”—because that’s the usual nickname they give Vice.

Paulo Valdea from Catanduanes said, “If MC really did leave Showtime, that’s a very good decision. Showtime isn’t even a good show anymore. It’s garbage. Vice Ganda is not just ugly, he also has a terrible attitude.” Wow, that’s a very personal comment.

Boy Caragay confirmed that yes, MC’s youngest brother is a doctor. Our only wish is that his mental health remains intact—especially if he’s not used to public humiliation. It can be really damaging.

Mary Chu Form Espiritu said that MC might still be healing from the wounds Vice inflicted on him. “Because if he sees Vice again so soon, it’s like pouring salt on a fresh wound.”

We will never truly know what goes on inside Vice’s head. Miss Nags shared this quote:
“Until you treat everyone as equal, you have no right to complain about the treatment you receive from anyone.”

MC, we love you. That quote runs deep and is incredibly beautiful. It’s true—people are judged by how they treat others across all levels of society.

Shony said, “What Vice Ganda did to MC wasn’t fair. It was deeply hurtful—to be humiliated in front of so many people and in public. So MC, take a break. There are so many opportunities waiting for you.”
